Description

eidon is an NFC reader for electronic passports and identity cards
eidon app reads and verifies the RFID chip embedded in national identity cards, electronic passport and other ICAO compliant identity documents (ePassport and any kind of Machine Readable Travel Documents: MRTD).
eidon does the following:
1) optically scans (OCR) the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) to get the values to access to the embedded chip.
2) reads the chip using NFC
3) displays the information of the document holder, read from the chip, as well as other document information.
