The app seems to focused on directing you to an electrician rather than provide quick & easy access to recall notices, safety advice that can prevent accidents on the home etc - no point on having an “ on the go app” unless family , care teams, support workers, fire prevention staff & electricians etc can readily identify products recalled and give consistent and uniform advice. Huge opportunity missed.

I have been using the “via email” service for product recalls for quite a few years and have recommended that to other family, friends and connections. One friend was unaware that her Hotpoint Clothes Washer had a recall but the machine was registered to her old house, so I was able to jump in and help. The App will make things a lot easier as I can now check items at my leisure. I will recommending the App to others.
