I like the writing smoothing in this app- it’s why I switched from GoodNotes 6 but there are a few things I’m missing. Firstly, why can I not flip selections horizontally or vertically? Or rotate things whilst ensuring the size is kept constant. It makes it really annoying for me to draw more accurate sketches of things like plots. I would also love to have the writing box feature from GoodNotes in here. Also I wish I could edit curve paths after having drawn them like in GoodNotes. Please work on your image editing and curve drawing tools!
It is exactly what i am looking for I just wish you could log into it from a different device
Before element, my go to note app was Apple Note. The ease, the feel, the simplicity and the cross device capability were the main factors. Element can do all that and some more. An issue with Apple note was that I couldn't use my stylus to write on desktop computer and with Element I can! That was the decisive point!
Paid for pro as I believed this app had potential to replace Goodnotes for me, but unfortunately there is so many issues with the app like the inability to add folders when I go to add them, it’s really annoying
The app keeps freezing and crashing which makes it’s almost impossible to write notes out. Please fix as soon as
I can no longer open any notes, the app immediately crashes when trying to open anything! Please fix ASAP or roll back
Would really love if this app allowed you to add your own handwriting as stickers, the highlighter is very light and doesn’t really “highlight” things, an opacity setting would be great. There is also no really difference between the art brush & highlighter, the style of the art brush isn’t distinct enough so I think having one or the other would be enough. Some crashing also but otherwise a good app, I hope it can be developed more, the bigger apps are slowly developed with ugly & clunky UI, this apps is very clean and uninvasive which is a big selling point. Would happily pay if the above is improved, especially adding the handwritten elements as stickers to be reused.
I use element every day for high school and i love it you dont even need to get premium for unlimited pages like most apps for notes. I love the fountain pen feature and the gradient colours. One thing to have would be to add different types of paper
I’m a teacher and have been using digital notes to organise my work daily, for many years. I’m familiar with most if not all of the top notetaking apps but have yet to find one the Holy Grail: a combination the amazing organisation of Notability or Goodnotes but with the superior, smooth fountain pen writing experience of Apple Notes, Nebo or Flow. This app seems to have it all! I haven’t experienced any of the crashing mentioned in other reviews but really hoping the most recent update has provided a fix for this. So far, it’s excellent and I will update this app if I notice anything otherwise. Thanks guys!
