Elite Mobile FAQ
Is Elite Mobile free?
Yes, Elite Mobile is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Elite Mobile legit?
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.
Why doesn’t Thomson Reuters fix this awful app? It never works. They charge a fortune for their software, and claim that they are an industry leader in legal billing, so there is no excuse for not having an easy to use ipad app that makes it easy to input time.
Atty
Both the software and this app are entirely useless and have zero functionality. I can’t believe anyone would actually buy such an incredibly incompetent product. Extremely disappointing and infuriating.
Bug in app
There’s a bug where the app just resets itself back to the setup screen! It’ll randomly happen or happen when you don’t enter a password at login.
Not for anyone who wants to enter time
You can’t sort by date, you can’t see transactions by date, you cant see all transactions by client. You can only enter or see a single transaction one at a time, in isolation.
Unusable
Cannot login most of the time and very little functionality to so anything.
You need to stop breaking the login process every time you update the app!
Why do you keep doing that with each new version??
Close to useless.
I wanted to like this app, but it's almost useless. You can enter time, but not efficiently, since none of the auto text shortcuts that exist in ProLaw carry-through to the iPad (like"rr" for "receipt and review"). Each must be created new on the iPad (but beware of screwing up typing in your other apps.). Also, locating cases is clunky.
You can check current fees for a case, but I can't say that's something I need whenever I'm on the road.
Sadly, entering time might be the best use for this app. Trying to locate documents is difficult. You can't search by document number (it doesn't even display), and you can't drill down by document class or similar filters. The display of document information in list form is difficult to peruse, and hard to use when you're trying to quickly locate that one critical document you need (but can't effectively locate via search).
What's worse, you can't do much of anything with the document once it's located, except to review a preview of it. You can't edit word documents (even if you have an app like documents to go on your iPad).
