These guys seriously need to update the app. Blinks open for a second and then just crashes. Re started phone. Still crashes. No updates, etc.

It has been a few weeks now. The app won’t open up. I changed to a new phone, still the same thing. It closes itself within a second

Hi I thought I was the only one having issues with not being able to open my Elite control app- until I saw the previous query left 1 year ago. This does not bode well for the future of this app for three reasons that I see: 1) The last update was done three years ago; 2) There has been no transparent response to a legitimate query posted 1 year ago; 3) I have tried communicating through your chat function, with no success. Should a fairly reputed Apple brand continue hosting an app that does not deliver? To Apple: you are judged by the friends you keep.

App won’t even open. Just shuts down again.

For the last month I’ve been unable to use the App as it would open and then when I tried to arm or disarm it would close down. When trying to open again it wouldn’t open. I since deleted and reinstalled the app with latest version and I can’t get past the MAC address and serial number entry page, it again closes down when pressing the enter button. I currently have IOS Version 17.3.1 Rgds Tony

Hi there, could you please tell me how I can get access to our system from my iPhone. When I updated my phone it never transferred over and all details to the alarm were lost, and now we are unable to turn the alarm off before we enter our property. We love our alarm and it’s so loud that our neighbours always check our property if the alarm is set off but unfortunately we can not access it while we are away. We were also never given an instruction booklet by our electrician so unable to do this manually. Thanks, Megan Cardwell

For a paid app seems no development is being done on it?? Why do I get the same alarm sound for arming and unarming - as well as zone activations (alarm going into alarm due to zone activation) Boy who cried wolf springs to mind - ignore the sounds because they are ALL the same for every event - plus you can’t change the sounds. That’s if you get the notifications that is. Had alarm going off at home due to a zone being activated - no push notification to my phone. Partners phone got it - they called to figure out what was going on - thank god for the cameras as first line of security defence - knew no one had broken in and it was a false alarm trigger - but could have been a lot worse and not even knew about it. Sometimes have to restart app multiple times for it to connect - especially when changing from wifi to mobile BUT not always - and sometimes are still connected to wifi or 4g and need to restart multiple times to get app to display status correctly as in the case with the above mentioned situation - alarm going off at home I was away from home on 4g and had to open app three times to figure out what zone was triggered. Speaking of Zones being triggered - why can I name the zone in the display but when a zone is triggered I get Z3 (for example) is activated - why can’t those notifications use the zone info to give me the name of the zone I have specified and not just Z3(or whatever)… Just needs a lot more work if I was going to give it more than 1 star.

The app hardly ever works - always has trouble connecting to the alarm system. Takes one power outage to get it broken. Troubleshooting is next to impossible. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.

Quite often the app struggles to connect to the panel. It’s frustrating for those who turns on bypass every night
