Don’t understand why the bad reviews App provides the necessary info and tools to manage your heating efficiently. You just need the patience to understand the processes in the app step by step. I would imagine it was beyond the capabilities of some of the unhappy reviewers. The Uk support has been 1st class. I have no complaints.

I bought my heaters in December, installed the app and have had a very similar experience to most other Reviewers. Bad! The app is very flaky and has recently not worked at all, despite a high quality internet provider and strong WiFi signal around the house. I use my storage heaters in conjunction with a new PV solar system recently installed. I chose the WiFi version of the storage heaters so I could easily select and deploy heating as and when there is enough solar energy to charge them.

Elnur - please revert to the previous version of the app. This version does not work. The app is buggy and with no manual is useless. I cannot get my storage heater to work properly - I am waking at night to turn on the conventional heater so at least I have heat. Great storage heater, but this New app has effectively disables the heater and really impacted a good product! Oh and yes - I did contact customer support.

I’m seriously thinking about taking a loss and replacing these heaters. The hub is useless, the manual very complicated to use. They are a waste of money. Do yourself a favour a find an alternative. I’m going to.

I have installed and set-up a heating system using the Elnur-Gabarron Heaters, Hub, and Power Meter. The system is excellent, and will surely make worthwhile savings in electricity costs. Although this is a Spanish product, all instructions are downloadable in English from their website. There is a lot of information, and it’s not a 5 minute job to set-up fully, but is perfectly achievable if one works calmly through the instructions. In the event of queries, the UK email customer support team are responsive and very helpful. There is scope for additional features in the App, and I hope E-G will take this on-board in time. Highly recommended.

The this app belies its origins as coming from Spain as it is simply not designed for the UK market. It has no real built in help and no online support other thAn a complex manual. To be fair the email helpline is good but the app functionality, or lack of it, remains. It needs a serious re-write. Given the rash of new net connected products it is time that the industry sorted some common standards so that users are not required to have an app for each supplier.

Firstly the G Control hub that was supplied to me had a manual all in Italian, and with only an European plug. Once I’d sourced an English manual online and a plug adapter, I found the manual only told me half of what was needed to work my new storage heaters via the app. I struggled to get the app to recognise the heaters, and succeeded more by accident than design. Then I was left to my own devices to find myself round the app, trying to understand things. Through a combination of heater manual, hub manual and trial and error, I’m fumbling my way through and regretting ever buying these ruddy heaters.
