It was great until last week
Since last week i been constantly geting emails that someone from USA have logged into my account.. i thought i was getting hacked so i changed password… But then i realised that everytime i open this app… i get the message… fix this please!!
Their servers access all your email
I'm sure it's a good app but I won't test it with my personal email account. Their privacy policy states that they access and process your emails for commercial interest. " By connecting your email accounts to the Services, you authorize Edison to access and process email messages in those accounts and collect, use, and disclose information from emails as described below. ... Information We Collect from the Services. We collect the content you create, upload, or receive when you connect your accounts to and/or use our Services, such as the emails you send or receive. ... Subscribers.We provide De-identified Data to businesses that subscribe to our commercial services. " Their customer service clarifies that their servers directly access your account, which means they store your password on their servers, and that they use the contents of your emails for commercial purposes. " Software on our servers interacts with your email provider over a secure connection for the following purposes: a) We collect email header information on our servers to notify you when an email has arrived (that information is immediately deleted after the notification is sent); b) We collect commercial email informationto provide our assistant features like package tracking, travel alerts, bills, receipts, event tickets, etc. to function; c) We collect and store a sample of your non-commercial emails on our server to improve our AI algorithms and provide you with better services. " Two stars since the app sounds great but I won't sell my soul.

some good some bad
Unfortunately the bad outweighs the good. Many times it looks like an email has been sent, but then about 8 hrs later it reports that it failed to send because of bad network connection (full WiFi the whole time and no other app has problems). Sorry, too much frustration, so not worth it.
