Can’t log in, so it’s just a cup
I do forgive new tech not working correctly right out the gate, but as established company you had years to fix stuff like this… but yeah, can’t log in, no matter what I try, maybe servers are down or something else is going on, but no excuse for luxury item that has been around for years. I’ll contact support and see if they can solve this, but my review probably won’t change unless it turns out to be completely my fault, bought another one as a gift and now I’m embarrassed to give it incase we can’t even make it work… It’s a nice cup though…
UPDATE:
It took few days, but login seems to be working now. Contacted support, no reply (it’s only been 3 days so far though) but at least it works now. From 1 to 2 stars!
Slow start up time
Why does the app take several seconds just to start? That’s not acceptable.
A very particular luxury
You really want to get the bigger version if you like to drink a lot of coffee or tea. I drink a lot of coffee but I also usually do something or other while doing so. This results in me drinking lukewarm or cold coffee most of time. With this it is a thing of the past. I have used the second generation XL size mug and honestly it is such a particular luxury of having hot coffee for almost 2 hours in your mug that it is in a lot of ways stupid. But if you are not short on cash and you want to keep your drink hot, get this thing. The timer function is neat for when I can be bothered to use my Chemex or french press. For drinking black coffee the notification of temperature is kinda useful.
