I really wanted to love this app because on paper it is everything I was looking for in an infertility-related tracking app, but it’s just so darn buggy. It’s always lagging or crashing on me, and I hate the interface to add symptoms/appointments/etc. It’s also really hard to go back and look at past dates unless you literally click on it every single day in the calendar.
Invasive
Asked really invasive questions about medical history including lab values and diagnoses, deleted profile 5 minutes after entering all my info in. Good features seem to be behind a huge paywall and on top of that I don’t like my medical information being accessible to unknown entities.
Terrible
This app is absolutely terrible. It constantly freezes. I hate it.
Great, but room for improvement
I love having everything all in one place to track medications and results, but the convenience is overshadowed by consistent glitches. There’s loading issues with the calendar and the discussion boards, so much so that I can’t use the app at all some days.
Very helpful but…
I love this app, it’s nice to have one spot to manage your whole cycle. However, the community option is a bit messy. Old posts come up first when you open the app sometimes and other times you can’t find newer posts unless you bookmark it.
I personally think there should be an easier interface for the community to communicate, perhaps even a search bar within the community to find topics that interest you.
There is also no way to enter your results if you end up with multiples pregnancy or the results of your scans after you get a positive test. I just wish this was implemented so I don’t have to download multiple apps.
But overall it’s great and chatting with other people going through IVF helps a lot.
Today’s 5/18 update broke the app
Was great until today’s update now nothing works. Please fix ASAP!!!
App constantly crashes
Would love to start using this app and see what it has to offer but unfortunately every time I log in the app crashes.
Deleting it. So frustrating. No response from developer.
LOVE this app and I tell everyone about it!
I was so pleased to find Embie as I embarked on my IVF journey about a year ago. Being so new to this, and slightly overwhelmed, Embie was a great platform to not only keep me organized with appointments and meds but to record my progress and seek info about the things my body may be doing/going through in this process.
Most recently, I have become pregnant through IVF and noticed that the app didn’t seem to be correctly reflecting this status. I reached out to the support team and was assisted by app creator/found, Ravid, directly. The help was quick, kind, and a resolution was provided via developer updates promptly.
Thank you, Ravid and the Embie team, for an absolutely wonderful and supportive app as well as your kindness!
Wanted to love it
I wanted to love this app, it’s so cute but I literally downloaded it this morning and was even frustrated at the glitches back logging my periods this last year.
The interface is just not there yet.
It’s very laggy and not a smooth process. The more I tried to work in it- the more it was pausing to load and tell me “you tried too many attempts”… what does that even mean??? I tried too many attempts at adding my cycles?
The transition between dates and months on the calendar makes no sense and glitches bouncing from full month to week. It’ll skip back to an old month you were on but not the month you want to be on.
Was really hoping this would have been great for tracking our first IUI cycle.
Inaccurate Medication Information
Love the clean look of this app, but so far it has not been intuitive entering information. My primary concern is that when adding the medication Menopur to the med list, the app labels this as refrigeration required. This is inaccurate. Concerning that inappropriate storage information is being displayed. Please update this!
