App has bugs, won’t open
I can’t say if the app works well or not because it won’t open. Yes, I am running the latest version of iOS and have tried restarting my phone. I wish I could get my money back.

This is a wonderful, customizable app for EMDR therapy. It’s simple to use, too. The only thing that I would suggest is either more time for the instructions, or a paused screen when instructions are given, so users can click when they are ready.
I was expecting way more options for the price.
I was just looking for a dot that goes back and forth, so this does the job for me. I like that it is somewhat customizable with size, color and speed, and would like it even better if it was customizable with different patterns and directions, like vertical and diagonal. But as is, it was well worth the reasonable price.
This app is fantastic for home practice. It has a guided EMDR session all setup but you can also set three custom sessions where you can type the questions you want to ask yourself. I set up the target memory first in my mind while looking in the mirror than j start my custom session using the modified EMDR procedure steps from a therapists guide to EMDR to walk me through the desensitization. I really like how you can slow down the voice reading the questions to you and customize the size and speed of the ball. The only reason I am giving this app 4 instead of 5 stars is because the digital bilateral beep that will sound in one ear and than the other with headphones on is so annoying that I have to turn off the option to have it on. It would have been great to have a few more choices on sound options or at least one that didn't sound like a fire alarm chirp. It's still the best EMDR app out there for home use since you can actually set up the questions so you don't have to think about what you are asking yourself. The other expensive apps have different backgrounds and objects for eye cues which don't really matter and better sound but nothing to guide you through the questions.
I love this app. I had heard positive things about eye movement therapy and I love having a tool in hand to benefit the most from therapy.
EMDR therapy works great for me. Unfortunately, this app isn't much help. The sound on an iPad doesn't work. I emailed customer support and received no response.
I was taught EMDR using bilateral hearing. That’s all I wanted was the alternating beep used with headphones. This has the beep and so much more. It reviews the concepts and talks you through a session. My complaint is the mechanical sound of the beep. I found it aggravating where I would prefer pleasant/ peaceful. I was able to get past that after awhile and found the program useful, esp. considering the price.
The simplicity of this app is what attracted me to it. I just want a dot. Not elephants, and I can't pay $20. The app is very high quality. I didn't expect a step by guide through the process, it's extremely helpful for a beginner like me. And so effective. I immediately can feel my body relax. So grateful for having this. It's very reasonably priced! :)
