Terrible bank

Not sure where to start but so many complaints. Firstly there was a technical error from their side on my account which meant I could not use my card for transactions. So they sent me another card. After a few weeks of using it successfully the same thing happened. I called 4 times, spoke to 4 different people and each time they told my my car is fixed, no it is still not fixed. I made calls of 2 hours in total trying to sort it out and I’m still non the wiser! Also I went to collect my new card from IBN Battuta mall. Reason to collect here and not have it delivered is because my emirates ID replacement card was on the way but wasn’t sure if I would have it in time to be able to have my bank card given to me at my door. The manager at this branch is so so rude!! I explained to her my situation and explained why the bank sent me a new card (their fault not mine) and she refuse to give me my card without emirates ID. I had my original passport to prove my identity and the staff on the phone who issued the card said it was fine to show my passport, but this manager just enjoyed being difficult Anyway another member of staff helped me and the manager carried on being rude to me and even told me to step out the office. I informed her no because her member of staff decided to help me which they did and thankfully I got my card in the end. As a Custoner I felt embarrassed and stressed. I will be moving banks because of this as I really don’t like how she manages there, she has no manners and is very rude.

Won’t load the new banking app

I changed phones and it forced me to upgrade but the new app won’t load. Very frustrating as I have payments to make.

This the old app that I was using until I was forced to upgraded to the latest version. I had no choice but to do as the old one wouldn’t allow it to have access to any information unless you upgrade. Just one thing to click on there “UPGRADE”, so it’s compulsory to do so. Unfortunately the new app is VERY BAD. It doesn’t show your recent transactions and all the look of it is just plain stupid and useless. Very disappointing and . frustrating. I contacted the customer service multiple times about the problem but no practical solution was provided. Very frustrating customer service, utterly pathetic and useless. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES.

Went to access my banking app to find it demands i upgrade to the new banking Experience called ENBD X. So I do this only to have the new app deny me access and now the old app won’t let me use it either. So I now have 2 Emirates banking apps downloaded and zero working apps and no way to access my accounts.

AED remittance currency removed for international transfers

Been using the app for 4 years with no issue to send AED to my international account in the UK (that holds an AED balance). With no warning, support for this has been removed from the app and the website. Spent an hour on the phone with NBD trying to get an answer from the online support team but absolutely no help provided. Please bring this back, as it is critical for expats (I should not be forced to send money to my home country in remittance currency GBP - but I understand why this might be financially beneficial for NBD to force this upon me)

It is extremely difficult to do any transaction on this website , very short time before being cut off , very hard to navigate ,it is designed to give hard time to users

Password bug

Has the worst password recognition bug - you have to change your password whenever the app decides to no longer accept it on the secure login homepage. When you go to change the password it says you can’t use the current password…🤦🏾‍♀️ does not need an update, yes password is case sensitive and aware of this.
