emsCharts Tablet Reviews

Horrible app

This app was slow to login and laggy. But now it’s been two days since I’ve been able to login. This app is absolutely horrible and unusable now.

Way down hill

My Dept has used EMS charts tablet for almost 8 years. Use to be the easiest software we have ever used. But since ZOLL has taken over, it has went way down hill. 80% of our calls are missing vital information when it sends from tablet to desktop. Patient records have recently disappeared and states “ down due to technical difficulties” understandable but this has been going on for 2 weeks and you can’t finish your calls on the tablet. Extremely disappointed in the service since ZOLL has taken over.

Tablet version is terrible

NJ Medic on

I have used emsCharts for about 13 years in different NJ based hospital systems. We recently switch to the iPad version of emsCharts mobile. I have used the Windows based version of emsCharts mobile and have found it functional. The iPad version is terrible. This needs to be brought back to the drawing board and completely revamped. Maybe include some actual clinicians to test the product. Highly do not recommend.

Good thought, poor execution

A tablet version of emsCharts has been long over-due. I was very excited to move to this program after using the horrible SyncPad program and I have been mostly disappointed with this native emsCharts tablet application. Their tablet servers are unstable and go offline frequently (once a week, usually on the weekend) and support is unavailable to fix things in the evenings or on the weekends when the system crashes. The emsCharts mobile is much more stable and should be your first choice until this program is improved upon. The other issue that occurs is with the signature expand button. If you expand the signature and touch anywhere outside the signature area, the window crashes and you are unable to expand the signature window anymore. You must then restart the application before the expand window button is functional again.
