Most of the questions are really good, and I did pay for the premium subscription however, I have noticed that the spelling on a lot of the questions is very wrong and it can actually complicate the answer. Once again most of the questions prepare me well but every once in a while a question pops up that does not seem like the most adequate answer because the question is worded so poorly. I am a resident at an ALS firestation so I frequently show other paramedics the questions and they often get these questions wrong due to confusion.
There are TONS of misspellings, answers that have words cut off, seems like this was a cheaply made app to copy something else
I’ll see if I can actually attach a picture of the screenshot from the app. The question was “ You are aiding a patient that has been stabbed in the leg. The wound is very deep and the cut is very long. You have applied pressure to help control the excessive amount of bleeding, but this is helping little. What should you do next to help control the bleeding?” The correct answer should be “apply a tourniquet”. Unfortunately the app says the correct answer is “splint the leg”. I wonder what other questions and answers are wrong. I KNOW this one is. Looks like I can’t attach the screenshot. I want a refund.
If you try using this for your Advanced EMT expect to fail. A majority of the questions did not line up, no Alkilosis vs Acidosis, no diagnosis questions, no body systems questions. Although there is supposed to be a drop down for the AEMT and even Paramedic I wish I had spent less time with this and more time trying to find better material online.
The utility of this app is great, being able to go over specific subjects and having explanations given for each question, as well as being able to go over questions you got wrong and make your own quizzes. It’s it not a 5/5 however because some questions have errors, such as no spacing between words, explanations as answers, and very rarely some answers just being wrong or there being no question. These things happen frequently enough to be quite annoying. That being said, the rest of content is great. And if the developers were to go through the questions and fix them, it would be a 5/5 rating
Lots. I mean ALMOST EVERY question had spelling errors or incorrect use of words. It made it kind of difficult to figure out the answers at points.
The questions on this emt app are actually harder thansome of the questions on the real test. When you take the quizzes it gives you a detailed explanation on why the answer was correct or incorrect which isso helpful. I recommend doing as many test and quizzes as youcan and it scores every test and a cumulative avg on all the test. Istruggled in class on the test , but i put in daily work with this app 3 weeks prior and it was a life saver. I passed the NREMT first try in 82 questions really shocked my self and probably my course instructor too lol. Good luck put in the time studying learning it will pay off. Love this EMT App!
Needs a bigger bank of questions. Too many repeats
There were lots of typos and errors in the questions. Often there was no feedback for missed questions, or the feedback was not particularly helpful. Don’t waste your money.
