This app has been updated to the Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) latest 2024 National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT®) guidelines.
The National Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) cognitive exam is a computer adaptive test (CAT). The number of questions a candidate can expect on the EMT exam ranges from 70 to 120. Each exam will have between 60 and 110 "real-world" items that count toward the final score. The exam will also have 10 pilot questions that will not affect the final score. The maximum time to complete the exam is 2 hours.
This app offers subjects aligned to the scope of the exam, as well as thousands of questions similar to the exam questions with full answer explanations. Included:
- Airway, breathing and ventilation.
- Cardiology and resuscitation.
- Trauma; medical treatment.
- Obstetrics/gynecology.
- EMS Operations.

Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in Account Settings in iTunes after purchase. Once purchased, refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term.

The content of the exam is practical and can be applied and practiced in the real world.
AEMTs perform the majority of emergency calls
The marking criteria are objective and fair, and can objectively reflect the actual level and ability of candidates.
Coloring is terrible
Trying to read the answers strains your eyes. Absolutely terrible color scheme, you can hardly read the answers.

Great app for practice but i literally cannot see the text with the white background and white text
Strains the eyes
Very hard to read the answer choices. If the color was differ t it would maybe be easier to read. Seriously going to delete this app just because I can’t see the answer choices. Other than that I enjoy learning from this app.
Poorly designed
The questions are good, but the answers are very hard to see. The background is white and the answers are written in white with a a light grey highlight behind it, but the highlight is not enough of a contrast to the typing. Not user friendly and strains the eyes.
