Description

The National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) cognitive exam is a computer adaptive test (CAT). The number of items a candidate can expect on the EMT-B exam will range from 70 to 120. Each exam will have between 60 to 110 ‘live’ items that count toward the final score. The exam will also have 10 pilot questions that do not affect the final score. The maximum amount of time given to complete the exam is 2 hours.

The exam will cover the entire spectrum of EMS care including: Airway, Respiration & Ventilation; Cardiology & Resuscitation; Trauma; Medical; Obstetrics/Gynecology; EMS Operations. Items related to patient care are focused on adult and geriatric patients (85%) and pediatric patients (15%). In order to pass the exam, candidates must meet a standard level of competency. The passing standard is defined by the ability to provide safe and effective entry level emergency medical care.

Question 18 in trauma 4 needs to be fixed! I googled the answer and it was right but the app said I was wrong.

Help with testing for class

Don’t Buy, Impossible to Cancel!

There are no options to cancel, they will continue to charge you every week. Scammy.

Sort of Helpful

This app was helpful, but also a bit outdated and inaccurate. It has some medical information that is 100% not needed for the test and ends up being more confusing than it's worth. For the 2024 exam, this has some outdated information, and went directly against some of the stuff in the NREMT textbook. I won't say I regret using it, because any test prep is valuable, but I wish I had found another test prep platform instead of starting with this one.

Purchased on iPhone, can’t use on iPad

The app doesn’t seem to allow for a sign in feature, meaning you can only use it for the device you pay for it on. If you want to use it for multiple devices, you must purchase multiple times and the progress wont synch
