You can’t choose your favorite genres.
I think that tou should be able to choose your own tunes, like Groove Metal, Goregrind or Post Punk. These sounds in the app give me a headache.
Switching modes doesn’t work
Every(!) time I change a mode I have to reframe because the sounds overlap. It was pretty lucky I discovered this button because I was almost ready to just delete the app again. Other than that i would say nice UI, rather simple and got a nice visual flow. But the subscription price is too high for me.
It is alright and has some uses
I'll start off with the drawbacks. Focus mode sounds sounds very dissonant, to the point where sharp, sudden sounds make it unbearable to listen to. Furthermore, the beats do not help to focus at all. I can count one one hand how many times I got something okayish out of it. As for the benefits, Relax mode is fitting for when you have finished a high-tempo activity. Moreover, I have found that Wind Down is quite good for focusing while studying. Sleep mode sounds quite good and helped me feel sleepy when I woke up in the middle of the night and felt wide awake.
It's fine
The UI is great and the different profiles (????) works as intended I guess. My problem is that a combination of background sounds in iOS 15 and playlists in Apple Music works just as well or even better. Not a bad product but the price seam way too high for what you get.
Lacking and expensive!
Endel is a interesting take on AI music that let you relax. But it’s way to expensive for what you get. The Endel Pacific as they call their music engine seems capable enough. And make some very good transition in sounds. But the app lacks customisation and options for soundscapes makes it boring and repetitive quick. 7 days and you have heard it all. Have you seen them amount of relaxation music you already have with your Apple Music subscription? What the app has going for it more that anything else is a beautiful UI and moving art drawings.
