Enduring Word Commentary

This app helps me understand Scripture. I especially like the notes from that great teacher, Charles Spurgeon, who is truly gifted with God’s Holy Spirit in what he writes in his sermons.

Good day I downloaded this app very excited to used it as a tool for my Bible study and the offline option was even greater. It worked for a time, I even downloaded the offline version. But now I have noticed that some books won’t populate, nothing from acts to revelation I have tried it in wifi and used data and nothing works for those books and it keeps telling me offline even when connected to the internet, but I also have it downloaded. I’m just confused lol. I’ll delete and re download and see if that works.

This app has brought me to a deeper meaning and understanding of the bible. If you are looking to grow closer to God, pleaseee consider downloading this app. You won’t regret it!

Such an amazing resource. I recommend this to all of my friends because it is easy to use and provides great context and insight into the Bible verse by verse.

I truly appreciate the breakdown of scripture with knowledge & wisdom! Thank you! I do wish I was able to make an account therefore having my bookmarks automatically reflect across different devices instead of having to manually bookmark on both devices. Also, having friends and being able to be interactive with others through notes, bookmarks, groups etc could be even better.

I love this app, the way each verse of each chapter is diagramed by outstanding theologians of the Bible brings it to life. Me and my husband have been Christains for many years and this has given us more understanding of God’s word. Thank you!!!

My wife and I truly love this commentary. Pastor Guzik is thorough and clear, and he includes comments from other giants in the world of commentators (and lots of Charles Sturgin). One thing I really like is that he presents opinions that differ from his rather than forcing his as the only interpretation. There are also audio and/or video files for almost all chapters. This is the best commentary I’ve experienced for anyone wanting to increase the effectiveness of their Bible study and their walk.

Love the app. However, I have one problem with it. It is age restricted to 17+. Now my 12 year old cannot download it to his phone because of age restriction. Please change the age rating so he can have access to it. Thank you.

I’ve been using Enduring Word commentary for the past several months. I didn’t know there was an app until today when a friend suggested it to some of our young people from our church youth group. I immediately downloaded it so I can use it instead of using a browser. I do have a suggestion. Make a widget for the app as well! I would use it and put it on my phone in order to not have to remember where I put the app.
