If you want the old setup, try using WattWise or HouseTrack. They are all from the same developer. Anyway, I've been using HouseTrack for a few days, and it’s the old Curb app with the same privacy policy. I would love to get more acute usage stats, but all of my monitors are clustered into one zone. Curb says they can’t program zones, the electrical contractor is responsible. Still trying to figure how that works. Why can the contractor label and designate zones, but the client cannot. And what magic software do they use that’s not available to the homeowner?

No graph charts anymore.

MythMac on

The new version of this app forces bar graphs which are not as useful as the historical line graphs. You don’t get to see when something ran anymore. All you can tell is that something ran on a day or week or months you don’t get to see when it happens. That data is extremely helpful and to have it taken away is highly disappointing.

Bring Back the Previous Version

Ggggkkkk on

United States

The “updated” app is lacking so many features the previous version had. Delete it and bring back the old version. Whatever this “elevation” takeover was has ruined the mobile experience. I have to rely on the website now.

Useless

Medizzle on

The new app doesn’t tell you anything. No charts or trends/usage over time. They’ve simplified all the usefulness out of the old app and created a worthless app. I would gladly take the old app over this.

Bring back the old interface

Your customers bought the curb to get more information, not less. The new interface is just useless.

New version of app only shows instantaneous usage

capnjosh1 on

United States

The previous version showed historical telemetry curves, so you could see how solar, battery, and grid usage changed over a day (think while you are not able to stare at the app screen). This new version from a few months ago removed all that. If you didn’t update the app it’s all still there and of great use, but this new version is disappointing to say the least. I think I’d go with Emporia if I could choose again.

Driving customers away 101

This app is hot garbage. I’ve tried using it since the update. The previous version was not pretty but at least I could tell how much I was consuming/producing. All I want is to be able to see the same info as on the website.

Simplified and fairly useless

NotReadyJustYet on

United States

I used the old app to understand both real-time and combined power loads over different timeframes. This new “simplified” app doesn’t do this. Basically people willing to invest in this kind of infrastructure do so because they want detailed understanding. This app is simplified enough to no longer be useful to me. As a long term customer, I’m disappointed.

This App is garbage

Andy@Mesa on

United States

The app freezes constantly. I believe the displays mixed up the solar production, grid and household consumption. So the values reported make no sense. On iPad this app is even worse. It does not change with iPad orientation, the fonts are all messed up. Displays are on top of each other. The older version of this app was barely usable. This update made it totally useless.

App freezes when opened

App shows opening screen, but unresponsive to all inputs.
