But can be better. scores are updated faster than other apps but not that fast enough. Push notification is fastest sometimes but sometime it take more than 10 min to alert. Overall I like it but hope for more upgrades.

Because there is so little cricket shown on terrestrial television I rely on the ECB app to keep me informed about matches

I only support England MENS which I have followed for almost 50 years, regularly visiting TEST matches at Lords, Oval and Edgbaston. Why do I keep getting “Notifications” on U19, England Women and Counties.

I don’t usually write reviews for apps but this got under my skin a bit. I followed the teams I want to follow, but it shows me both men and women’s cricket when I only want to watch men’s. I saw someone else talking about this and I think they were spot on, and I think it’s great that women play, I‘m a woman who played club cricket myself!!! I just am not personally interested in women’s cricket as men have a physical advantage which creates a higher standard of cricket and is more interesting to watch. I think it’s great that women play, again I reiterate that I, a woman have played, cherished and enjoyed cricket for years, but I think that our choice on what teams we follow should not be restricted because the creators wanted to make some virtue signalling statement. But then again, it is their app and they make the rules but I just wanted to say what many people will be feeling if not saying and I hope that coming from a woman you will understand that this is not unreasonable. Also, more of a personal gripe, but I was disappointed to see they include the 100 on there as I think it is the destruction of the pure form of the game and barely worthy of the label cricket.(Also the hundred is supposed to appeal to younger people and I am Gen Z and I can tell you the most enjoyable form of cricket in my opinion is test cricket, the standard of this game should not be lowered and cheapened in hopes of younger people taking interest, the way to do this is teach them the rules and show them good cricket.)
