Subscription pricing and terms:

Enki offers an auto-renewing yearly and monthly subscription to provide you with unlimited access to the Learn Mode features while you maintain an active subscription.

Payment will be charged to the credit card connected to your iTunes Account when you confirm the initial subscription purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of the renewal will be identified. You may manage your subscription and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase.

It’s a great app

Enki is a great app, you learn very much without ads even without upgrading, and if you still want to go premium (learning mode) it’s not even that expensive (I think it was like 2.99 per month for 12 months)

Just money money money

The “creators” of this app just want money. The information is wrong a lot of times, besides the fact that most of it comes from wikipedia (seriously?!). Its way better to use ‘really free’ websites like w3schools or just visit the website of the language you want to learn, for example you can learn php on the php website. Just use google and find a website that suits you, that is way more valuable than this garbage money-grabbing app. Its simply terrible with a lot of false information. Highly recommend to NOT use this app.

Not free

After having done 8 small intro lessons the ninth is only available in learning mode (paid version of the app). So basically unless I get the paid version I can’t continue in the app. I strongly recommend players who like me don’t want to get a paid subscription (yet) after a few lessons, to just ignore this app. P.S. admittedly there is a free 7 days trial, but I’m reluctant since with that I’ll likely be in the same position a week later, but with more time wasted due to being unable to finish my learning.

Great app, i used it for about 6 years and I was really Enki ambassador in a team, but now since the app became paid and free version is read only it became useless- the whole idea disappeared.. I wish you know what you do and you finally make money of it, but I’m uninstalling it

No way to remove account and start anew.

Geen support

Na een paar dagen zeer fijn gebruik van de app liep hij vast. Ik kon mijn studie niet vervolgen en ondanks veelvuldig verzoek tot hulp kreeg ik geen reactie. Daarop heb ik mijn abonnement beeindigd en mijn reeds betaalde geld terug gevraagd. Update: Op verzoek een mail verzonden naar Tom en wederom geen reactie helaas.

Prima platform om te leren programmeren

Eenvoudig van opzet, goed te begrijpen en praktisch in gebruik.

Very informative App

A great App, especially for beginners, although even for more advanced users there are some nice tricks and tips. I only wish they’d release some more languages and concepts, for example clojure or Haskell. Then again, quality above quantity. But how about making the quizzes available on Apple Watch?
