I just got my eno and am in my first weeks Of using it but I have to tell you so far it’s exciting and the support I have received is amazing.

I’ve been using the Enophone app for a while, but this latest update is a game changer. The app is now much smoother and more responsive. The issues I had with tracking brain activity and syncing have completely disappeared. I can tell the developers really listened to feedback because the improvements are noticeable. This update has taken the whole experience to a new level, making it even easier to monitor my mental states and focus.

I'm a comp sci major, and focus is everything. I got these enophones as a gift, and they’re now my secret weapon for studying. They pair with an app that tracks my brain and helps me get into the right headspace, whether I need to focus, calm down, or get in the zone. The headphones adapt in real time—they play sounds that keep me focused or relaxed based on how I’m doing. There’s also a mode where I can just track my brain while listening to my own music or meditating, which is super cool. They’ve really helped me with studying, relaxing, and even sleep. Plus, as a tech geek, I find it so fascinating to see how my brain reacts in real time—it’s like a Fitbit for my mind. If you’re a student who wants an edge, especially in a tough major, I totally recommend enophones.

The battery life these are crazy long and I could wear them forever the updates are really nice especially for tracking data and the built-in sounds that they have for meditation are super convenient and pair well with the headphones

I got my first pair of enophones with the original Kickstarter campaign and it was one of my most anticipated backings ever. It was a really long time ago so I don’t recall exactly but I think it was severely delayed and I had basically given up on it until one day a functional pair of enophones suddenly was delivered to my door unexpectedly. So I’ve used them on and off since the early days when there was no mobile app and the PC software was a basic beta version. Here are my thoughts: Build quality and design - 5 stars! Solid build, the enophones just exude amazing quality and construction right out of the box. They also look incredible especially for a brain entrainment device. I guess I’ve had my first pair for around 8 years and they’ve held up perfectly other than one of the fabric seams on the right ear cushion coming a bit loose. Doesn’t affect function in any way, but aesthetically a bit bothersome to me. Comfort - 4 stars. The fabric ear cushions are just firm/soft enough to feel soft yet supportive and fully enclosing of the ear. The tension of the headband is also great for me - a lot of headphones give me a headache after prolonged wear because they apply too much pressure over time but not enophones. The only lost star is cuz of the headband electrodes. They’re pointed and dig into the scalp which can lead to discomfort after prolonged wear. But I’ve found that if I adjust the position and tension of the headband, then I can overcome this issue. The electrodes are also completely removable which transforms comfort into 5 stars but I don’t recommend doing this too often as they could get lost and are not easily replaceable. Sound quality - 5 stars. I’m no audiophile so my opinion probably doesn’t carry too much weight, but for me these sound amazing, on par with my AirPod maxes (the only other over ear headphone that I currently own). Brain entrainment - 4 stars. In the early days, there was no mobile app and so it was a bit of a chore to whip out the laptop and log into the computer app just to track brainwaves. There was really no entrainment tracks, guidance, or anything back then but it was such a cool and unique product at the time that it felt awesome just using such futuristic tech. Then the original company died and the computer software got discontinued and the enophones literally had no entrainment ability at all and could only be used as regular earphones. After you finish a session, it says syncing with server, but it never stops. I left it syncing for over an hour.. never ended. There is a problem with this app, please fix it!

The headphones are great but the app is SO user unfriendly…and I have not been able to reach someone to help me. Lot of money for what is essentially a set of headphones. Wish I new how to return them.

I have had the headphones for a few days and have completed multiple focus sessions of varying lengths. When I complete the session I get the message "Synchronizing session on server, wait a moment please." It doesn't matter how long I wait...the session never syncs. The headphones have to be powered on for the app to function, but even then, it doesn't actually function. I have yet to be able to product the reporting results for a focus session. Even more frustrating than the lack of functionality is the lack of support. I have sent multiple emails and chats with the chatbot but have gotten no response. I will likely return the headphones. The cost is too high for something that doesn't function as intended/advertised.
