Enterprise Car Club Reviews

UNRELIABLE- CANCELLED MY BOOKING LAST MINUTE

Screwed Over By Enterprise on

United Kingdom

I had paid for a car for Christmas Day to take family to see relatives for Christmas lunch. On Christmas Eve, without any explanation they cancelled my booking. When I called, they said that the main Enterprise company had hired the car to one of their customers who has extended the hire beyond the time I had hired it, so Enterprise, by allowing this, are basically saying ‘screw you’ to car club customers. Disgraceful customer service.

When the future is spoken about, it becomes easier to achieve, without having to do more than necessary.

Not enough information

5556666777888,,,,, on

United Kingdom

The app is really good but some vehicles lack information e.g whether the car is a manual or an automatic.

Expensive

(Bill.f.) on

United Kingdom

Was pretty reasonable for price when you could rent a car for 24 hours for £30 but it’s nearly doubled in price to £50 in the last couple of months which is no longer reasonable. Doubt I’ll keep my subscription now but was good while it lasted.

Rather than searching for a slot. It would be helpful if you could select all the cars near a location ie stopford house in Stockport and see when they are free.

Monopoly

low car ownership on

United Kingdom

It’s a shame there’s a monopoly on this service in our area. This is probably the reason the price is now prohibitive as is the deposit

Car not there

Angus1113 on

United Kingdom

I went to pick up a van near me, it wasn’t there! Called them and they said it was “far away” and I should look to book another. Seems like it was stolen as it’s spot has been left empty ever since. I don’t understand how they can track the vehicles and know what location they should be in but not have any system to inform them if someone has driven off with one of their cars?! Strange and leave me with no way of knowing if a vehicle will be there when I book one

Clunky, dated and limited functionality

Samwell on

United Kingdom

Car club is a good idea, but the app is clunky, dated and functionality is poor. Needs a complete redesign. Basic features such as being able to review historic hires, or see how much you’ve spent this month are missing. It’s unreasonable that you should have to wait until the end of the month to find out how much you owe. The cost per hire is impenetrable - even on the final invoice.

Abuse of power and taking advantage of council

AntYeah on

United Kingdom

Norfolk Car Club was a fantastic business. Cars were good, the deal they made with the council was fantastic. Enterprise bought that relationship and have abused it, especially with their most recent promotion. What they have decided to do is run a long promo to get drivers used to paying £30, and then they have swapped the good cars out for the worst cars they have ever had, and cranked the price to 50. It used to cost around £15 if you took a car for 3-4 hours. Now you are looking at 30+ for a fiat 500. This company is disgusting. They should be taken to court by the council and have their spaces provoked. Monopolies are illegal for a reason.
