I’ve played multiple choose your story games and I have to say Episode has a large range of stories and even allows players to create their own story, which is cool! The app promotes inclusivity which I really appreciate too. However, this app is not f2p friendly at all. You need to spend your money on gems to have a great playthrough otherwise it’s underwhelming. Clothes literally impact your entire experience and it is quite frankly EXPENSIVE! A new player starts off with 0 diamonds but is expected to spend 16 diamonds on an outfit let alone 20+ for an additional scene with their LI. Not to mention, grinding for gems takes forever and may be exhausting to others. I would recommend beginner passes at least.

im totally in love with this app but one thing that made it less fun for me is the diamond choice . at least the other options that didnt charge any diamond is a good choice but its ruining the storyline.please do something about this , not all users can buy tons of diamond also just for one outfit need 40 diamonds is crazy . anyway i love this game but a little mad about the options that needs to use diamond

Interesting stories, but locked behind a paywall
The stories and concepts that are weaved and laid out in this game is interesting, but you, as the player, has little control and agency to decide or act without spending money. You can painstakingly earn them one at a time if you play it a ton, and I truly mean a TON. More often than not, if you don’t spend, you’re forced to pick the worst choice even if the game makes it seem like you have a choice. So is it really a story YOU are deciding, or what the game is deciding FOR you? Unless you enjoy this a lot, I will not recommend it. Not worth spending on just to unlock paths either, unless you are super invested. Your time will be better spent creating your own stories rather than playing through this. It’s a great shame, a lot of stories seem interesting.

had to uninstall this game after having to pay for very expensive gems. almost every scene you have to pay gems. this is so crazy! I used to like this game and didn't have to pay expensively and there is also a story that can be read for free. Now all authors are desperate for money!
