Camera Hub signal but green screen through elgato virtual camera with iPhone X
If you connect the EpocCam iOS App from an iPhone X to the Camera Hub app Elgato Camera Hub app a video signal appears, but then when you try and signal it through the Mac elgato driver Elgato Virtual Camera that is needed through QuickTime or Zoom, a green screen appears. A clear bug that renders it all useless and also very time consuming for the end user. Everything is running the latest version of iOS and camera hub version 1.7.0 Only thing i have gotten to work is the competitor Camo, but wish Elgato would step up and dominate the product experience…
EpocCam with Mac should have its own separate driver, and so should the cam link 4K connection so you could have the option to record from multiple video source signals at once and also eliminate the risk of one source (ie EpocCam) from failing to work properly with the Mac video output driver.

Since i cant us EpocCam now that i use Linux only. Hope it will in the future. Cant rate it if it doesnt work 😟
It used to be 4-5 stars for me though.
Problems
Why not include 1080 60, and why the hell is it lagging after restarting my computer for another thing and the free version has no lag, but when it did work, it was great. Plus, mic doesnt work, not that i need it, just saying

Software from a large hardware manufacturer
Works exactly as advertised.
Setup is super easy.
I just wish for the possibility to close the iPad app and use other apps while it is capturing.
Have stability and buffering issues
iPhone 11 and iPhone 7 - I cannot connect via WiFi (laptop and phone connected to the same WiFi).
Works on cable though.
Randomly crashes. Turns off video then try to reconnect (blue dots on screen) even if app was open all the time. Only way to bring video back is by re-inserting the cable.
Buffering issues - if I move between PC windows app start to chokes and after few seconds video stops.
Once active window is back to Zoom/WebEx/Teams it sloooowly comes back to normal but it takes really long time.
Doesn’t matter if video quality is set to low or high, nether if using front or back camera.
Until this is fixed I would not rely on this app for webinars and/or video-calls.
freezes and mic doesnt work
tried on many applications and most of the time the camera freezes and when on video the microphone never works.
i tried contacting support but had to add information that doesn't come with app for me to log a support. and now claiming money back with apple.

Response is slow
The response is too slow. The video is shown very slow on my pc. The free version works fine thats why I bought the pro but the pro version is useless. Please fix it else the app is useless. Else i ask for a return. This app is completely useless.
Was fine until
App closes when phone screen times out. That makes it useful for about 20 seconds.
