Apple Watch access

Any chance you can add Apple Watch so that we can utilize its health tracking benefits along with your app?

C2 Erg Data

LemmingKMA on

Had the ErgData for PM3/4 on my phone for my C2 Rower. Great App and have tracked my workouts for over 2 years. Then today I discovered my original ErgData App has disappeared and replaced with the C2 ErgData App and it immediately went to a page forcing me to create an account and join their “community”. FU C2! I’ve deleted the Apps and have cancelled my upcoming purchase of a C2 indoor Bike. Stealing my data for your monetary gain and most likely setting me up for a subscription service is going way too far. Fight the greed!

Super glitchy

Chuckilla on

Erg Data constantly freezes mid work out. Data is lost and app reboot and PM5 reboot is required. Very disappointing.

Crashes upon saving

FR240 on

Works great once you get it going and sync up an Apple Watch or a chest strap. Info is pretty much what the PM5 would show but on your phone screen, so room for more goodies at once. But when attempting to end and save a workout, it almost always crashes and then the workout data is gone. So frustrating and makes it useless unless it can be depended on to not crash in the last moment to save the workout to your Apple Health and ErgData. Real shame to get this far and not be able to save workouts consistently.

Great……until

Danco12 on

Loved the app and it kept great stats…for just over 6 months…..then it lost all data. Everything…over 400 km of rowing. EVERYTHING!

Merge ErgRace and ErgData

bdhdnudnfh on

Rather than having two separate apps, it’d be nice if you merged ergrace with ErgData. Making a one stop app to find everything.

Please add resting heart rate

MaryHallaig on

We can enter maximum heart rate but not minimum. It’s hard to do the calculations for the actual HR range .

Works sometimes

AnmlLuuuvr on

Frequently workouts fail to save and I have to manually add the data online. Very frustrating. The old app was clunky but much more reliable. About half of my workouts don’t save correctly. The app frequently crashes as I end a workout.

Heart rate not updating

BillB2431 on

I like this app and everything seems to work well other than the heart rate monitoring. I’m using ErgData with an Apple Watch and an iPhone X. Initially the heart rate displays correctly when I set the workout. It then usually updates right away after the workout starts but then the heart rate sits at that point for an extended period. Today was 10 minutes, but generally it’s closer to 20. Once it starts to monitor again it’s fine and updates frequently for the remainder of the workout. If you complete the workout and start another session the heart rate continues to work fine. It just seems like it takes 10 - 20 minutes for it to initially start working. I’ve done some short 2 minute warmups and the heart rate freezes and but when I start the main session my heart rate has updated. It then however freezes again after the initial update and sits for the 10 - 20 minutes before starting to work again. If not for this issue I’d be a solid 5 stars. Until this is fixed the heart rate monitor is useless. I’ve never experienced any freezing of the heart rate using the Apple Watch on its own so this appears to be an issue with the App.

One Step Forward, One Step Backwards

Bram57 on

On the face of it, I like this app, as far as the look and function goes. But! Since I got the updated version of ErgData that replaced the older version of it, I have lost the ability to accurately monitor my heart rate in real time. As a result, I can no longer do targeted HR/cardio zone training. No matter what I do, I have not been able to resolve the problem. Other than migrating to the latest version and subsequent updates, nothing else has changed. Same Apple Watch, same Polar H10 monitor and the same PM5 monitor. Briefly, the problem is that my HR is picked up at the beginning of my row and then seems to freeze at that level. If the row is long enough it may refresh, but when it does it usually comes back with an impossible number that would indicate that I am working at anaerobic level or suffering from tachycardia! All while, base on split times and feel is while working at Endurance or Tempo pace. This occurs whether I using the watch, H10 belt and/or both to track my HR. And yes, I did search the FAQ to look to see if there was a remedy, but found none. I also did a clean install of the PM5’s Firmware as well as the ErgData app, and, iOS phone and Watch os, too. Other than that, I continue to appreciate its integration with Strava, Apple Health and Withings Health apps. While I like how it updates with the C2 Logbook, I recently noted that it doesn’t allow to input row manually. A bit frustrating not be able to do so, should the need arise. Hopefully, all will be soon be resolved.
