Here’s why - Pilates is the foundation my body (and yours too!) needs. Pilates is focused on core work - think abs, butt, back and arms. Pilates gives me the strength and flexibility I need to excel in my job, and activities I love to do. It helps me in swimming and when I am wearing my pointe shoes in ballet class (oh yeah, Pilates gave me such a strong foundation I was able to start dancing in pointe shoes for the first time at 33!). I have the best posture I have ever had in my life, leading to more confidence as I walk out my front door to tackle the day. Pilates is a sustainable exercise practice you can do as long as you live. Pilates isn’t a fad exercise or the next new trend. It is a foundation for everything you do.
