I get irked when there’s a puzzle and I don’t know what the point of it is, so I just deleted the game. A simple explanation of what is supposed to be accomplished would be helpful. Pet peeves…

Puzzle difficulty was right in the sweet spot of solvable but not easy or too frustrating
This is one of the most ridiculously nonsensical games I have ever played. It doesn’t make any sense at all and the puzzles are way too confusing. But it could also be interpreted that the developer is so creative that he was able to make a game that is so unfathomable, that it’s actually pretty genius… ??????????????
I dislike a bad review because someone didn’t understand how to play. This game was very immersive which was exactly how I like them. If one put the pieces together it wasn’t necessary to use the hint system at all. And what a glorious challenge! Such satisfaction in reaching the solutions as they were evident but not obvious! Great job!
This game was so much fun. Interesting, challenging but not impossible. Can’t wait for more from this developer!
fun game, clever puzzles, interesting art design, and you rarely “clear” an area completely, which i love because it makes the puzzles and world feel more interconnected and less linear. that said, there are some glitchy elements that keep this review from getting five stars: some of the black screens between areas last a weirdly long time, which can be extra annoying when you have to jump between multiple locations; occasionally, pressing the back arrow moves you two or three times, which means more long black screens to get back to where you left off. i had a hard time with some of the “arcade-style” puzzles (thinking specifically of the one where you have to time your taps to the yellow lights – no matter what i did, i couldn’t get the fourth one, and i actually started to think i misunderstood the puzzle), but the skip option is easily accessible, which was nice. for most of the puzzles, if you’re struggling, playing around to see how the pieces might move and what you can interact with is a big help, and i liked that the game doesn’t hold the player’s hand
Great graphics, story and puzzles. However, morse code from second balloon doesn’t match answer. Difficult to figure out where/what to do next after solving some puzzles. Love the built in clues and skips (not doing 5 trial/error in a row) though!
We were impressed by the cleverness of this game. A few moments of feeling unsure what to do next, but overall fun and lots of challenging puzzles. (Wasn’t personally a fan of of the puzzle with adding and subtracting boxes, but just a personal preference.) Definitely worth the download.
I have already played the game. There is no “hints for a review” bribe or anything; there is no lingering frustration that brings me back to complain. I am taking unnecessary time out of my evening to share some silly review just because this game IS THAT GOOD. I’m serious. I was even skeptical at first cuz i thought i caught a whiff of Rusty Lake Wannabeism. But this dev does not need to imitate anyone. The art is cool, the premise is vague but intriguing, the whole thing just flows very cleanly. Nothing glitchy. Great variation of puzzles. Simple, reliable hint system. Honestly i cannot say enough: how rare & wonderful is it when a game just makes sense? There is nothing superfluous or random.. so satisfying!! Dev clearly put a ridiculous amount of time & thought into this project. Yes, there are some ‘simple’ or familiar concepts, ie similar to Tetris, stacking like-colors, connect the dots, etc. But there is also something of a tapestry of interconnected, multi-phased challenges.. The code breaking alone would have stumped me if i didn’t keep a separate notebook handy! I was just so very impressed by this game. Unbelievable that it’s also FREE! I could rave on & on, but quite simply it is STELLAR. It really IS that good.
I’ve written longer, detailed reviews for both games by this developer, but they keep disappearing. Both games are absolutely brilliant. Somewhat challenging but logical. Long length and a little on the creepy side...which isn’t my thing, but it’s not nearly as gory as some other games (such as the violent & bloody “Cube” games...gross). If you take notes, look everywhere and notice details, completing the game is quite rewarding. Imo, this developer is quite intelligent create such brilliant puzzles. thx!
