great app
great app to see the body in 3d but there's some anatomic mistake that should be corrected, and some missing part in the visceral aspect like fascia, mesos, etc.

My school uses a different app and I didnt realize until after I purchased it. I've noticed it's missing some of the ligaments and muscles and its much harder to navigate than the other. Wish I would've realized before I spent $28 on ths app
This app has helped me immediaely after i purchased it. I was confused about many big concepts in the pelvic region but looking at a 3D model of the human body really enabled me to picture where things were!
I don’t know how I would have passed my anatomy courses without this app! The search tool is not perfect, and I would like to save some view I’Ve built from the app to be able to reload them. But otherwise, I use it all the time and I love it!
The iOS version of this app was far more impressive. On the mac version, many functions are not working, navigation is a lot more difficult and it uses battery like crazy.
It would be much better if there was more specific anatomy - for example the layers of the skin and the glands found in the skin. The app is really lacking in this area.
I am currently taking Anatomy in University and I LOVE using this app to study muscles and other structures. It allows you to really study anatomy using a 3D model. If you pay for add ons it is a very helpful app when studying muscles and bones. I don’t know what I would do without this app.
Altough I love this app and use it almost everyday there are a few annoyances that I hope the developers will address. One are the pins, which have actually worsened with the newer versions. The pins do not stay where placed and are difficult to manipulate. I’d also like a label feature for a pin that stays visible. The second one is the lack of moveablity of the model. A static image is OK but would be much more effective if, for instance, we could raise the arm, bend the knee, etc. I hope future versios will improve.
As a Remedial and Sport Massage Therapist, this application is not only a helpful tool in helping my clients understand the given condition they have, but it was a huge asset during my education. Anatomically accurate with 3D visualization, Origin, Insertions, actions, innervations and arterial supply. The ability to make notes when isolating each muscle is especially helpful, allowing the user to add in additional information from their own palpation practice, lectures, labs, etc. I would like to take this time to extend a loud shout out to the creators for a job well done, and to keep the updates coming. If you are seeking a tool to assist in your health care education or practice, look no further then Essential Anatomy 5.
best thing ever mainly for my anatomy and physiolgy class. i use it more than my textbook. the 3D allows me to visualize everything well. especially helpful in learning all the names of blood vessels, muscles and bones. you can hide parts of organs or muscles or anything to see what is inside or underneath. anything you can click on comes with descriptions.. you can make your own notes in the program.. it is really just amazing!
