Would you like to learn more about how to blend essential oils? This unique blending wheel helps you to create your own aromatherapy blends using essential oils.
Our unique blending algorithm is based on years of research and experience – so instead of scouring aromatherapy books and websites, this app does the hard work for you!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simply add your chosen oils to the mixing beaker to build up a personalised blend, and you'll see a list of safety precautions updated in real-time.
Watch the blending wheel spin as you add essential oils to your blend, with recommendations appearing towards the top. These suggestions update as each essential oil is added or removed from the blend.
Oils are conveniently grouped into top (red), middle (yellow), and base (green) notes – so it's easy to create a balanced blend.
BLENDING OPTIONS
a) Blend by condition: Choose from a list of 30 emotional and physical ailments to view the most relevant essential oils associated with that condition. The mixing beaker is pre-filled with the recommended blend recipe for that ailment, with other recommended oils appearing at the top of the blending wheel. Simply add or remove any oil to customise the blend to your preferences.
b) Blend by oil: Choose any essential oil as a starting point, and the blending wheel will spin to suggest other suitable oils to add to the blend. Recommended oils will appear towards the top of the wheel, based on our unique blending algorithm.
SAVED BLENDS
Once you're done, you can save your blend for future reference. Saved blends can now be named and/or deleted when required.
This app is not affiliated to any particular brand of essential oils – and as it's developed by a qualified aromatherapist, you know it's advice you can trust.
DILUTION CALCULATOR
This UPDATED version includes a new Dilution Calculator tool, which allows you to easily work out the dilution percentage of any blend.
PREMIUM UPGRADE
Users now have the option to upgrade to the premium version of this app, which includes the following features:
• Access up to 60 essential oils – TWICE as many as the free version
• Detailed profiles for 60 essential oils, including Latin name, botanical family, note, cost, category, description, uses and blending partners

Very limited
I can’t believe I just paid for such limited functionality. No proper search bar. No note-taking facility. Only 60 oils, and 45 listed ailments. Why is “allergy” not listed, and since when was “joy” a condition that needs treating? The default list of oils (if you choose not to customise them) precludes certain listed conditions from being addressed (these are indicated with an asterisk). One of these is the common cold. Another is insomnia. These are probably two of the most common conditions that users might want to treat. So why not include the relevant oils for these conditions in the default list? It’s fine if you want a quick suggestion for a blend, and it’s quite fun to watch the spinning wheel, but there are plenty of free apps with more oils, more listed treatments or uses and a load more info. In short, this one a frustratingly limited app that I wish I hadn’t paid for.
Extremely Accessible
It says something that I love and use this app often enough I feel it deserves a review. I purchased the full version as it was about as much as I would expect to pay for an app like this, and it works really well. It’s not information heavy or comprehensive by any means, but for an intro app to help you blends and have quick reference for what notes and scents will work well together, this is just amazingly handy. That this feature is integrated with notes on the holistic uses of the oils mean I don’t need to look anywhere else to blend a simple mix to put in a diffuser, so my use of essential oils has been stress free and extremely rewarding. Thank you for providing such a wonderful little app, I’m sure I’ll be using it for a while to come.
Demo mode not enough to entice me to pay...
... and the sounds are dreadful and invasive; totally not in keeping with an aromatherapy app. It is ridiculous to have to pay to switch them off.

This app is very easy to use with lots of sensible advice, it is invaluable to me and the customer service is second to none!

Useless app for blending
Lack of Essential oil choices. Sweet Orange is not even in the list! The only useful feature I use on the go is the dilution calculator. Upgrading is a total ripoff. The app has not been updated nor improved for years now and it seems like the developer is no longer interested to work on this app.
Can’t even use the app
I tried to get into the app, and it clearly isn’t designed as a responsive app. The screen zoomed in and wouldn’t move to even let me see any screen. Had to delete it before I could even use it.
Not enough oils
I paid for the upgrade thinking more oils to choose from from but that was not the case. The app is lacking.
