Looks like it’s working again.
After a long, long time it looks like this app is back working. Hurrah !!! ..........I wrote too soon ! It has just been updated. I should have left well enough alone ! Like another reviewer I have iOS 12.5.7 on my iPad. The app developers say this app works on iOS 11.0 and above. Guess what, it doesn’t ! Well done Essex Library, you picked a “right” developer !
Can’t access app on my iPad
Until about a week ago I could access the app ok, now I can’t . I’m running iOS 12.5.7 which I know is old but you shouldn’t have to upgrade just to use this app
Yay it’s working!
This was one of my most used apps before it stopped updating and showed books on loan that I had returned months before so I deleted it. Just seen it seems to be working 🤞🏼it’s really useful to search and reserve items

Clunky and outdated
Quite simply, this is an app that represents the lack of central/local government funding into public services … It’s temperamental and prone to crashing. The search options are convoluted and tedious. The overall design and experience is circa 00’s. Basically, it feels like it was created and put together by a class of GCSE IT students, and was then used by the Tories to supplement their education budget.
Ok when it works
Hasnt worked for months. Please fix it, Im remote and rely on it! Was recommended Borrowbox by your mobile library and its also awful :(
App doesn’t work at all
The app doesn’t work at all, doesn’t connect to the server, pointless.
Unable to connect to Server
App is useless as not able to connect to Server. Just keeps saying Try Again! Please fix asap as the app would be useful once it works.
Not great
Have been logged out again, unable to log back in, have tried reinstalling, it says unable to connect to server.
