The way to a good strategy game with a mix of unit tactics and formation plus resource gathering
What most that make this game interesting to me is that the balance between effort on battle or grand campaign choices. There is so much rewarding effort as long the game is play the way it should. Use formation (same unit) plus with a good general. How we approach our target and with what unit against what unit will determine the outcome of all skirmishes.
But resource gathering also play apart in this game, not so much in campaign but full attention should be monitor on conquest. City plays important role to redeploy better troops, same function as cavalry stables and cannon factory which overall produce more than 30 units or more on differents grade.
I am expecting the next of this series is much more emphasis on border unapproachable by freindly units and diplomacy plays a small part cause the main thing in this kind of warmgames the strategy and tactics plus where to attack and where to defence have been established in this game also the kind of unit available exceed my expection.
Overall nearly a great war game with a good concept and understanding of how and war is all about. Great jobs to all that participate in the making of this game.
Now do consider the formation that was use infantry against infantry as choices before battle occurs as square formation to go up against cavalary. And the cavalary has the option or any battle to be shown in cinematic battle according to unit involved. Although this will increase overall value of gameplay but also differ every country soldiers, warships and artilery. So players have to figure out how to mix match before assault. One more thing perhaps the game can put size of unit from battalion up to div or even corps size as I recall those days there were huge numbers of soldiers were involve.
Weather and day and night should play another thing to put in but off course this will make the effect much more complex.
And then we come about the arsenal used in that time should differ and available for purchase as income permits. Last but not least
Fog of war to make battle more interesting.
Now that is all, all the best as i am still interested in this game although knowing there is differents series which i havent palyed yet. All the best for you guys and hope to be ur tester one of this day to give more input for next project.

Grand Strategy
One of the best grand startegy available on the Apps Store, pity tho, diplomancy is somewhat none existance in the game except for pre-determined coalition, should have make it open ended like Hearts of Iron. Let hope they add technology and diplomancy next
