Description

Roll the dice, move your pawn, buy properties, make deals, acquire monopolies, build houses and force your opponents to bankruptcy. All this and much more is enabled in Europoly, the real-state board game that you will love.

A Europoly game can be played by 2, 3 or 4 players. Each one has a pawn for traversing Europe. If a pawn lands on an unowned property, she can buy it or auction it. But if that property is already owned by another player, she has to pay the rent. The overall goal of the game is to remain financially solvent while forcing opponents into bankruptcy.

The board is designed to perfectly fit your iPhone or your iPad. The squares include European cities and airports, motorway, ferry, casino cards, lottery cards and a jail. The player with the floor throws two dice and moves clockwise around the board. A player who lands or passes the Start square collects 5,000¤. If a player rolls doubles, she can roll in her turn. After three consecutive sets of doubles, she has to go to jail.

Cities are arranged in groups with the same color. The player who owns all the cities of a group has a monopoly and will be allowed to build houses, increasing the rent that is received. Transport squares cannot be developed, but the given rent increases if a player owns more than one of either type.

If a player needs money, she can trade with other players, sell her houses or mortgage her properties. Players cannot collect rent on mortgaged properties, but they can be unmortgaged by paying the stipulated amount to the bank. If a player cannot pay her debts (even selling her houses and mortgaging her properties), she must declare bankruptcy. The winner of the game is the remaining player left after all the others have gone bankrupt.

You can play Europoly with other bots or with humans in the same device. We have carefully crafted the Artificial Intelligence of the bots, offering 3 different and engaging levels. In the highest level, they play aggressively and are tough traders. In the intermediate level they are more relaxed and will offer better deals. In the basic level, the bots are soft and you can trick them to get good deals for your interests.

Europoly is highly configurable, allowing the following options:
* 2-4 player games
* Play with bots or humans in the same device
* 9 different avatars
* 3 levels of Artificial Intelligence
* Select the initial money
* Choose the colors of the avatars
* Adjust the game speed
* Activate sound in-game

RIGGED

Honestly this game is just rigged, come and the ads you don’t need ads for a game like this I would rather pay the money for the real monopoly than this free game

GREAT GAME!

Coral Carner on

This is the best monopoly spin-off I’ve ever played! It is well designed and straightforward. It doesn’t waste time with annoying animations that slow the game down. If you set it at top speed you can actually play a whole game in an hour (but if it’s your first time playing, set it at a lower speed because the redesigned ‘Chance’ and ‘Community Chest’ cards are worth reading). This is the ONLY online game I’ve ever played whose ads are NOT annoying: 1) The ads last for EXACTLY 5 seconds. (Seriously, stop complaining and give your eyes a screen break!) 2) They never get stuck in loops that make you click numerous times to get rid of them. 3) The author has incorporated them into the game by making the AIs talk about finding dice, answering the phone, getting snacks, etc. during the upcoming ad. It’s cute, it’s corny, it’s creative - I like it. 4) Sometimes you can watch a 30 second ad to get a bit of money or get out of jail. Contrary to some of the reviews I’ve read, you CAN win almost every game. The secret is making sure the AIs don’t get a monopoly. They will sell almost everything early in the game. Take advantage of this and make sure you buy one or two of every colour set, even if you have to mortgage everything to do it. Once all the properties have been bought, trade railroads (airports) and utilities (ferry and highway) for whatever you need to make a few sets. The rest is easy! Really appreciate the thought and work that had gone into making this game. Great job!

Really is Rigged

Shubham2305 on

Dear developers, I really enjoy playing this game. However, much like many reviews here, I have also found this game’s AI to cheat many times which really takes all the fun out of it. I believe you may have put it there to make it more challenging but given the probabilities on it sometimes, it is just becomes worst experience to play. Please fix this problem is possible. Excellent game otherwise. Thank You

This game is rigged

There is a bias in the algorithm! You can’t win. The ads come on strong. I really wouldn’t bother!

Rigged

Condormahjedas on

Let’s face it...this free monopoly game is rigged. Whenever you’re winning in money aspects, and have more properties, you watch...you’ll land on everything you don’t want to, while your opponent/s launch over every negative thing. I seriously, at one point, owned everything except Vienna, which my opponent owned, and they CONSTANTLY landed on Casino, Lottery, Just Visiting, The Island, etc. And I would land on Vienna about 1 out of 3 times I went around the board. And worse, the ads are so constant, and although the dialogue by the characters are entertaining sometimes when an ad comes along, it is just plain annoying. So when playing this game, turn off any Wi-Fi you’re connected to. Although, it’s a fun game to pass around a table to play with your friends, and is considerably better than the actual Monopoly, because the bird’s eye view and sound effects, while all of it being highly basic, is still clear and to the point, and makes it easier to make decisions and have fun. My overall verdict? Get this game, but get ready to rage, because the A.I is stupidly lucky, and the get out of jail cards aren’t even functional.

The only iPhone monopoly app that is as close to the original you can get but too many pop up ads and a glitch that doesn't let you use the get out of jail free card
