Step backwards
When I bought the charger last year the app was fine (not great but usable). Now it’s become bloated, confusing, and impossible to use. My car setup is lost, it doesn’t seem to understand when it’s plugged in or not, and won’t let me re-add my car so it never knows if charging is complete or not. Of course it’s out of warranty now or I’d just return this and get some other charger. Beware!
(Also the preview images are of the old app…presumably because showing the new app screens would confuse anyone).
Works great
Never had any issues with the charger or app. Can program charging hours, turn on or off from phone, it even has lifetime total. Connectivity great every time.
No longer working
This app is getting worse. From intermittent functionality. Since last week (Jan 21, 2023) no longer showing my device. I thought I can re-pair them. But it ask for PIN what I never set. Reset ownership failed for “connection lost”. Really disappointed. Should’ve sent them back in 2018 when it was under warranty.
Recent update killed all functionality
Used to work great, now doesn’t work at all. Selling charger and buying one from a company that doesn’t treat customers like this.
Terrible rollout!
This app is a failed rollout with no communication. Followed the steps detailed in the email they sent to switch to this app from the old one. My account would not transfer after many attempts. O ya red support, after about 45 min, there was no communication as to what’s going on, just told me to hold while he checked my account. After telling him I could no longer wait, said they would send me an email by end of day. No email came with a solution. Decided to just sign up a new account which loses all your account history. Setup took 14 tries for it to succeed. In total, spent about 3.5 hours on this, what should have been 5 min. DO NOT MAKE THE SWITCH TILL THEY FORCE YOU OR FIX THE APP/SETUP.

Would not connect
As other reviews have said, looks nice but doesn’t work. No updates in over a year. Use your browser to save time.
Horrible
I wish I could love this app but I hate it, only because connecting to WiFi is HORRIBLE. If you succeed in connecting then don’t ever, ever change your WiFi network or modem because you will not be able to connect it again with this app. To update your WiFi you have literally 2 minutes to perform a variety of steps before the process times out, and if you have a hard wired Juicebox those steps include running down to your electrical panel to turn off the breaker before running back to the Juicebox and trying to perform several complicated steps with your smartphone. Even if you follow the steps the app is so buggy it is pretty well guaranteed to fail. Stay away.
Great for the technically minded
I love this app because it gives me a WeatherCAN of info on charging status, down to the amps being charged and voltage. It provides a graph of charging rate and the options let you choose the Max amperage, which I like to keep low for overnight charging. Sure, it could be a bit not polished but believe the simple Home Screen interface, it’s got a lot of useful and interesting data, and options.
Invalid unit information
Since latest update, can’t change maximum charging rate. Now I’m stuck at 6A (1.2kw). If the App can’t be relied on, we *must* have a local, offline option. The hardware is great but this app failure renders it less than useful.
