You would either hate or be addicted to this game. This game is a grind game, most of the nail biting excitement mostly in PvP. A lot of players find satisfaction in a few things in this game. PvP, PvE, trading, mining and industrial. There’s several things you can do here and it’s not a gacha hero game.
If you love space mmo and customisation of your ships, this game might be of interest to you. Huge universe to explore and mine. Huge PvP fleet battles when drama escalates, small or solo PvP when at dangerous zones, or fly together with friends or corp/alliance mates to take down PvE pirates, don’t feel like killing stuff? Take your mining ship and collect and sell minerals, build ships and other stuffs, manipulate the market and just do trading mostly, there’s really a lot to do here. If you know a little about Eve Online, you would know every ship have its role. Having the biggest most expensive ship isn’t an instant win button, infact you may be obliterated in a few seconds if you aren’t careful.
Now despite the game being wonderful let’s just talk about the cons:
1) It’s a Grindy. The beginning is tough always learning and getting use to the game. You would spend most of your time though even in later stages, grinding for isk or resources to fuel your PvP or PvE needs.
2) Losing your ship have consequences, thankfully there’s insurance points, unfortunately the more expensive your ship is the more insurance points is required. Your ship gets blown? Some of your stuff can’t be recovered. The game is very unforgiving. But that’s how it’s designed to be.
3) Its a pay to play game disguised as a free game. Yes you can play for free but most of the basic stuffs is locked behind a monthly subscription.
4) It’s not a fair game when you are fighting PvP mostly. This is a norm culture in the game. You are going to face players that gang up on you. You may get caught in a gate camp and die if you go to nullsec. You may also get killed by smaller PvP fitted ships. You may also get killed by ships outclassing yours by a alot.
5) Casino style lottery transactions. This is the thing I hate the most but it’s normal for mobile games. There are items, skins or whatever that gives u a slight edge locked behind a whale paywall. But as I have explained, it doesn’t matter what kind of advantage you get for sinking in thousands of cash. Your ship can melt in seconds by a group of players.

Insurance ruining the game
*write to all who wants to join this game
It was a great game, even it was a simplify the version of EVE Online. However still provide variety to gamer and the can play any role in this EVE world.
Since you guys introduced insurance for any ship, it spoil the EVE economy. With insurance, less people will buy the ship manufactured by others as these ships are mean to expensive than insurance. It affects whole industry chain! Ore mining, reverse engineering, manufacturing, etc! There is demand on any of these things, some new gamer starts with mining, there is no room for them to survive. People like to trade, there is no market volume!
There is lesser room for you to play, it’s no more a 8000 stars world, it is endless kill the bots or people. If you wish to play such boring game, go ahead.
To Game Operator:
If you want more people to join, please create the environment suits for people wish to use real money to play and people wants to spend minimum but still can enjoy! Without 2nd types of player, 1st type player will not enjoy. Please do consider the new update you put in to restore the balance in the game! Please bring back the economy and the manufacturing!
Eve Echoes , a pretty face with nothing behind it.
One on the worst game ever. I am a current Eve Online player and Eve Echoes is nothing like Eve Online other than a badly replicated game, ported to a mobile platform that had gone really, really bad. Even at the very beginning, this game would not allow you to progress without having to fork out real money. Not unless you are content to earn 3000 to 10000 ISK running low level mission while the things that you would need in the game would cost hundreds of thousands or millions ISK. Even if you eventually get to the stage where you are able to mine Ore, Eve Echoes would not allow you to sell it unless you upgrade to Omega status, which would require real money. Bare in mind that it is not a one time payment but rather a monthly subscription. In addition to the greed, the game had in a way trick you into upgrading to Omega status. When I first started playing Eve Echo, I was given a free Ship Skin which supposedly has an estimated market value of 20mil ISK. Obviously I was not able to sell it because only Omega status players would be able to sell anything in Eve Echo. Unbelievably, after I upgraded to Omega status, surprise, surprise, the “Free Skin” really worth nothing. Not even 10k ISK. To the developers, they ought to be ashamed of themselves. This is clearly a fraud. I have no regret for not starting to play Eve Echo earlier and I am glad that I have not invested more, other than the one month Omega that I had paid.
As the matter of fact, after a rough estimation, I concluded that it would be more expensive to play Eve Echo which only has a very small fraction of the original EveOnline gameplay and game components.
Eve Echo is in fact a very boring game. It can never be compared with Eve Online, period. And not to forget a very expensive game that has nothing much of gameplay other that a good look.
A complete and comprehensive MMORPG, but hard to pick up.
This game has everything a normal MMORPG should have. Player driven economy, (eg everything you’re buying is not from a system but a real person), many ways to earn money, many corporations (or clubs), and many ways to play the game. It is quite fulfilling and maintains interest imo. However, it can be quite hard for newbies to pick up. The game tutorial only tells you how to fly the ship, and that’s about it. There are so many more aspects to the game however. So if a newbie happens to be reading this right now, and doesn’t know what to do, please check out r/echoes on Reddit or google whatever your unsure of. Other than that, great game, great gameplay, great community.
Challenging new game
I’ll start off saying that there are some issues I have with the game, but it’s still my new obsession. Yes the occasional hiccups are annoying but the Developers are working hard and fast to improve gameplay. I have confidence they will continue to improve things (less time for warping please!).
If you’re looking for a fast shoot them all dead game, this probably isn’t for you.
If you’re looking for a game with years of possibilities and amazing breath of choices this is the BOMB! Be a pirate? Can! Be a business corporate raider? Can! Be a space courier like Han? Can!
I recommend playing on a tablet as even the biggest phone screen makes the text tiny for my 40+ old eyes.
Give it a week and see you out there!
Bug, Bots, Imba
full of bug, bots and imbalance. is it will be same like eve online or totally different direction?
Baby EVE Online
If you love EVE Online, you will love EVE Echoes. It’s amazing to carry a full EVE experience in the palm of your hands. Although not all of EVE Online’s content is currently in Echoes, my hope is it will be added later as its the full EVE universe, with no limitations at all!
Great game
Finally a complex and satisfyingly deep game on mobile. Too bad for all the shallow minded people who can’t seem to do the tutorial (which is pretty straightforward)
Daunting at first, but now im hooked!
There’s no denying that this is a complicated game. I almost gave up on it. Give it time and you’ll see how addictive this game is. Once you learn the basics and mechanics, its gonna hook you and sink you hours of gameplay. Never have i spent so much time playing non stop on a phone.
