Would be the best app if there was just a login for partners. It keeps taking me to sign up. Then it keeps kicking me out then stalls. It’s been doing this for MONTHS and I’ve reported it FOR MONTHS and it’s still not fixed. I’m looking for another app because if I’m paying every month for this it should work the way it is intended. 10$ a month is a lot when it doesn’t work right. For the longest it reported under the. Wrong day and time. Which doesn’t help me or the person being monitored. It locks me out everyday and I have to delete and reinstall just for it to keep signing me up and then kicking me out! Frustrated!!!!! Was great before all the issues!
It’s not accurate at all. It sends notifications that are easily proven to be incorrect, but those notifications to accountability partners, like a spouse, cause great damage in a marriage. Tech support is tone deaf, not a good product
I used this app because it has screenshot capabilities, but it regularly reports that I disable them. I’ve opened multiple tickets with their support team and gone through all their troubleshooting steps, all to no avail. It gets better at times, but still frequently reports that I’m tampering with the app. We switched to a different accountability app, and have significantly less problems.
I appreciate your efforts to create a software and platform to support accountability and transparency, as well as healing. I’ve decided to offer some feedback to better help both consumers and developers. I used to use Everaccountable on an Android, and I’ve shifted over to an iOS device. Some major differences. Apple is way different, and in some ways, more convoluted. I do appreciate the VPN feature, as well as the filters and blockers that have been added. The algorithms and cookies that have been used over recent years basically serve to create porn addicted users and companies justify “using” their information to customize their content “to better serve” their audience. Right. No thanks. I will say, the VPN is still a bit buggy, as some sites like Amazon Prime Video, say don’t work with it, but they do with other VPNs. It could be the ads that are being used, because I can watch my purchases, just not the free stuff. Odd. So I’m not really sure if it’s a Amazon or an EA thing, but I would appreciate it if someone could look into it. Furthermore, I’ve noticed that there are a few “loopholes” as well, as far as avoiding having their screen actively shared. That could just be that the app/software can only do so much. But I would be happy to go into more detail with someone should they contact me. All in all, good work, definitely a lot of valuable features. Of course, nothing replaces the desire to improve, nor having a group of people to help you keep walking in the light. But stuff like this definitely helps. Updated to add: I appreciate your response. I attempted to do this. Unfortunately, when I tried to follow the instructions, it didn’t work for me. I uninstalled a couple of the apps it recommended, and told it to ignore a couple of others, but neither changes registered. I also went into settings and allowed everything for the Safari extension, and it claimed that I had not. I’m not sure what to do about this.
No convenient way to sign out on the app
It does what it’s supposed to, that’s for sure. I just dislike how it just doesn’t work with some things. I tried to play league of legends on my phone and their server says their cloud security detects something malicious and won’t let me connect to their servers. OpenAI/ChatGPT won’t work either on my device. Things like this is a bit ridiculous. I might switch to something else.
I have no qualms with EverAccountable for the most part, but there’s just one issue. Every time I log into the app, my phone is registered as a new device, so now I have multiple devices registered and all of them are exactly the same.
Keeps sending my accountability partner and myself messages about no activity in a week even though I have everything setup and haven’t turned it off. Worked great with my android, switched to iPhone and started having these issues. I browse with Safari and have the everaccountable VPN setup.
Not bad for accountability however the VPN has constant connection issues. I’m frequently having to reconnect it or remove the management and reinstall it. There’s no fix in sight.
