Home Inventory Everspruce Reviews

Perfect for keeping my garage organized.

Love the app! It’s exactly what I am after to keep my garage in order. All you videos are super helpful too.

Love the app so far.

We go on long trips on our boat and fill it full of a multitude of different supplies, tools, parts, etc. I can never find what I’m looking for when I need it. I’ve been trying this new app for about a week, and it really has helped me organize and find things when I need them. I am going to continue to use it a while longer and seehow robust it is. So far it seems like a great product, especially since I can take pictures as part of the inventory process.

Great for insurance inventory

At the advice of an insurance agent, I decided to compile an inventory of my belongings in case of a loss. I intended to use Encircle, but that app proved frustrating, since there's no way to upload a batch of info, and their website is geared toward commercial customers. I searched some more online and found a recommendation for Everspruce. This turned out to be exactly what I need. While there's no way for me to directly upload a batch, the Everspruce blog provided a template and instructions, making it easy for me to organize my info. I then emailed it to them, and they were able to upload all my data within a week. Much faster than if it I'd tried entering everything one item at a time. Now all I have to do is attach pics of everything. Why would I go to all this trouble? Well despite my somewhat frugal lifestyle, I've accumulated some good furniture, some nice work clothes, etc over the years. I have a replacement value renters policy, and it turns out that i didn't have enough coverage. If I have a total loss (like a fire guts this place), I would not have had enough money from insurance to replace everything. Since using Everspruce, I now know the true replacement value of my stuff, and I've increased my policy to cover everything. I pray I never need to cash in like that, but if, God forbid, it comes to that, Everspruce had all my info saved, and I'm fully covered by insurance. This app is wonderful!

FREE TRIAL FRAUD ALERT

This is the most aggravating bait and switch tactic by marketers and app developers alike. As of today 4.17.2023 the website and the App Store both have this company offering a two week trial and it would end with a charge of $44.99 (before taxes of $5 more) for an annual subscription. Clicking on the link from the site takes you to this offer. Clicking on add subscription from the app gives you this same offer. I accepted it and then instead of a free trial it immediately charged my bank account the total of $49.15 😡. There’s a number to a Google voice subscriber that’s in WA that is not connected to anything any longer it says when calling. Emailed and a couple hours go by without even opening it on their end. Called Apple and had to file a problem with Apple due to this charge being immediate vs the two weeks before having to make that commitment to a wholes year. And $50 almost for a year is a lot of money for any app. It’s either shady, or unattended and not very organize for an app that literally boast of how it’s used to organize. Or worse that it’s just a bait and switch tactic. Either way I DID NOT AGREE TO THIS UPFRONT CHARGE TODAY.

Nearly$50 yearly subscription- no Thanks

Does it poop gold nuggets? No wonder this app has such low download numbers. Even if it was one time payment of same value it would not be worth. There are way more complex software and apps that one may use daily that don’t have such high tag. Even the developers were a bit more savvy, they would show its value get people hooked and dependent on it before placing such value. When I see silly prices like many others I laugh and never look back.

Almost

This is exactly what I’m looking for but like other reviewers have stated, my family needs to be able to access it, and this is something that should have a lifetime purchase option. This is not an app that provides content - should be a one time purchase. I would 100% be a paying customer if these were fixed.

Does not support family sharing

This is really a pain since we share a home and storage area, but since I cannot share the subscription I am the only one who can make entries or I have to give my phone to someone else to make/add/edit entries. This is not a usable app for anyone who co-owns items.

Love this App for my Craft room

I am an avid stamper and have over 1000 stamp & die sets. I love this app for tracking my inventory. I love the tags that allow me to quickly sort through the items in my inventory. I have also used this app to track the whereabouts of my children’s dorm room contents during summer vacation. Since some items are put in storage and others are in my home it saves a lot of time to know where to start looking for their items.

We use the app to manage our inventory for our flea market business. Easy to use and has made us much more efficient. Way easier than trying to manage a spreadsheet.

This One Works Well!

BitMangler on

I’ve tried some other “personal stuff” organizers… And the store is full of apps that are a waste of time. This one not only works well, but is pleasing to the eyes, and easy to use. Sure, to do any serious organization of the “stuff” accumulated in your life, you need to pay this developer. But in my case, to become “organized” with ability to “quickly” retrieve most everything I own was very empowering. Additionally, this will stop my wasteful spending on the re-purchase of things that I already own, but cannot easily find. (I asked the App’s developer to add ability to print multiple “duplicate” labels (vs only 1), so I can label 3 sides of a box…the developer said “No problem..that feature will be next in line after the feature currently being worked”).
