If you want a decent circuit simulator, don't buy this one.
Hi. I just got this app, and made a quick little circuit, and straight away i got this message saying i need to pay £15 to continue. Like, i know that most circuit sims are paid, but RIGHT AFTER DOWNLOADING A FREE APP? Pay and nothing else? Sure! Trial? Go ahead! But a payment to use the app right after getting it for free? NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I hope you start to feel empathy on users like me. I hope your one single computer becomes e-waste in the ocean. You had so much potential in this, yet you made it a cash grab and made a run for it! This time, im gonna get cheaper circuit sim software, and/or get my hands on a real breadboard.
Good potential, but consistently crashes when removing a connection.
This is a great app I installed, the small amount of reviews don’t reflect on actually how big the community is, it should be more popular. On the other hand, more things should be added, like vacuum tubes, autotransformers and other things etc.
Paid £££ for this App and I was very happy at first but it’s very limited in what it can do and I’m not getting the same results In the simulator as I am in real life. The main reason I wanted to use a simulator was the ease of building circuits that I was encountering in my course. One really annoying thing is ‘Time Delay’ circuits are not behaving in the simulator the same as they do on a breadboard (which is very annoying) Another annoying thing is the size of the component symbols; they are fixed and this restricts the topography of the schematic and this restricts your designs because of the limited number of components you can place on the simulator page. This list is getting longer; unlike the list of components available in this App. (Could be larger) Some things I like and some (a lot) I don’t. Just one more niggle... Creating power supply circuits is not straight forward when transformers are involved. (Try it and see) In conclusion... Out of the 2 simulator Apps I’ve tried off the App Store; this comes 2nd. The online community could be better too. Hopefully things will get better.
The app is really good not only as a learning tool, but to be complete, it a needs updates like: larger canvas, JFETs, valves/tubes (lots of audio circuits already there, imagine how many more users will get onboard with tube simulation)
Fantastic app. Easy to use. Great for understanding basic principles of electronics. As a student this app really ignited my interest in electronics. Yes it does cost £10 or something. Well worth it though.
24 hours to try app is not enough time with this kind of app. What I did try seemed o/k,but £15 for something you can’t try properly is a no for me, shame.
App claims to be free ... soon as open it says start my 1 day trial then below it says sign up so I figured ok it’s free so I’ll sign up try it then once I’ve got the circuit I’m working on done I’ll start my trial and check out all the features if it’s as good as they say I’ll buy.. so sign up and straight away it says your trial expires in 1 day that was at about 12-1am I finish my circuit and hit simulate (it’s now 2.53am so 2-3hrs) and it says trial has expired and buy it to remove the zero component limit! So if I don’t buy I can do precisely nothing with zero components!! So much for free and I dunno where your from but 3 hrs is not a day... as trials go a day is a bit tight but 3 HOURS!! I DIDNT HAVE A CHANCE TO TRAIL ANYTHING as I spent the couple of hours familiarising my self with the circuit builder! Says in the App Store joking aside.. haha right.. joke is fully on me wasting 3 hours I could have spent designing on paper or another app! Best there is!? At what? Doing nothing? You want me to change my mind and post a positive review? Do what they do in the hospitality trade turn a negative into a positive... at least give me a worth while trial.. but I bet the developer won’t bother to reply to this.. shame a real shame! If you think your product is worth anything then I’ll look forward to hearing from you otherwise I guess it’ll speak volumes to those looking trying to decide if they should download or not
Very helpful app that can simulate circuits design. Save lots of time. 👍🏼
