I loved it. A magical few minutes each morning playing the day’s reflections with my husband over a cup of tea. Added something really special each day in the build up to Christmas. Please do another lent one too
II hope that the designers at Church House will realise (hopefully before next lent), that not everyone uses the same phone / tablet / computer etc each time they access the app. I am not allowed to have my personal phone at work for security reasons, but was allowed to download ‘Live Lent’ last year for those times when shift work meant that the only practical time I could use it, (during a work break), I was able to do so. Current Dust and Glory app won’t let me sign in usin* my usual C of E password and won’t let me register separately. Thanks a lot! Perhaps learn the proper meaning of outreach?
I use this app on my iPad and have trouble getting the audio to start, I have to turn my iPad off and on again then almost take it by surprise tapping the start button for audio to come on. I find it very helpful to sit with my eyes shut and listen rather than read it myself.
I’ve appreciated these before but unfortunately the usual password palaver isn’t letting me in so won’t be able to view this one.
Only works for the lucky people who have i0S 13.0! Lesser people such as myself who can only access i0S12.5 but are members of the Church of England have served as a Church Warden and are currently a sides person are excluded !
App doesn't open now at all. Just closes as soon as it opens.
I loved the Advent version but this Live Lent app leaves a red number one that, annoyingly, will not go away. I assume it is a notification of some kind. I went through every single item in the menu and made sure notifications were turned off. It still would not go away. It happened on both my iPad and iPhone. I finally just deleted the app.
I’m really enjoying the content of At the Heart of Christmas but despite the update two weeks ago I am only getting part of the audio. Today (Christmas Eve) it doesn’t even get through the introduction before it cuts out.
This app looks like fun, but why do you want my name, email, and postcode to use it? It says the data is shared with the ‘Archbishops’ Council’, and I have no idea what this is. Will the church police be knocking me up if I use this app?
