Best playing/learning app I've seen

This is a very absorbing app! Having loads of fun using it to teach my 8 years old son about logic, electronics, engineering and programming. Hardly ever write reviews but felt the need in this case!

Good idea, so limited

Kam3k on

United Kingdom

You're limited to making a linear circuit, you can't for example control the pitch of the waveform maker with the output of a light sensor or use sound input level to change a color output. The pieces don't have inputs to support this type of thing.

Pretty Awesome

This is a good app that is really fun to play with but for some reason the sounds don't work and the text to speech doesn't work either. I am on iPhone 5c so this may be the phone. Otherwise great app and would recommend to people who want to have fun with scripting

Good, but needs bugs fixing

Bangbang2012 on

Generally works well and it is useful for learning logic etc. Unfortunately, the colour detector can't be set for anything other than red. This undermined an early attempt to make something, reducing confidence in the app.

Fabulous, but a few glitches

Misternaughty on

This game is quite cool although it requires iOS 8 and one of my friends can't update to iOS 8 the back camera is flipped, that's annoying. But overall I rate 4 stars will be 5 when these glitches are solved I absolutely love this game still though

Brilliant fun. Excellent concept!

This is terrific fun - and I've not shown it to the kids yet ;-) It's so easy to make quite complex machines - for example, a machine running on an iPad which detects motion and turns on the flashlight on my phone. And the whole machine can be switched on/off with my watch. Brill! It's not perfect - I found the introduction sequences confusing, and I'm an app developer myself - but it's not far off perfect. The kids each have an iPod, and share access to an iPad... So I can't wait to see what they create!

Great App - Almost there

Cas'n'Dana on

This is a great app, it's fun, it's educational and its functionality is very diverse. My 7yr old even managed to produce some funny machines in minutes. The only down side is that it could do with a bit more test and development as some functions are slow and clunky and others don't work properly - eg the colour detector seems to only detect red and not allow you to select another colour from the pallet.

Improve, please

I mean, for a while, you and your kids can be entertained, but it needs more components.
