EXIT – Trial of the Griffin

The Escape Room Puzzle Game

Published by: USM

Description

The second Escape Room experience from the exciting game series EXIT - The Game takes you back to the year 1837 to the legendary Greifenstein Castle.
The Countess herself has invited you to assist her as an expert. Neither the bumpy carriage ride through the misty woods nor the warnings of the locals can deter you. However, what is the truth behind the rumors that the Countess has not been seen for decades and that ghosts haunt the stone halls of Greifenstein?
Once you arrive at the castle, the old walls will not let you go. Only if you pass the tests of the Countess and prove yourself worthy, you can free her—and yourself—from the castle and defeat the curse.
Go in search of the castle's mistress, examine her chambers for artifacts from your predecessors, rummage through the library for clues about the von Greifenstein family, discover mysterious relics in the castle courtyard, solve tricky puzzles in the family crypt, and even think outside the castle—and the game! The ghosts will help you decipher witchcraft recipes, open folios, medallions and caskets, or decipher the strange hourglass. Are you up to the task and can you free the Countess from her seemingly hopeless situation?

Rubbish

Just does not work…

Absolutely excellent

Really loved this, a perfect addition to (hopefully) the series, I loved the first game too. Nice story with great narration, I think previous reviewer is being picky over vocabulary. I found his voice relaxing and the amount of narration just right. The puzzles were really unique and I even had a nice surprise at one bit that I wasn’t expecting, so clever! I didn’t want it to end, superb and definitely worth the small price! Bravo! Why do ppl pull down a brilliant game because you need to use your brain a bit 🙄 it means we lose out on excellent games and only have generic rubbish , I found it very logical! I wish I could give more stars to make up for the idiots, please make another game they are fabulous! Isuppose it’s to be expected from someone called marktheduck.

Obscure puzzles

Prefer a bit more logic to puzzles than the ones in this game, sorry!

Completely stupid

The puzzles have to logic, so far from games like the Room they try to emulate

It doesn’t matter if the case is open or closed the ghost doesn’t open the large door! There is no indication given as to where the ghost is hiding.

Be better if the narration could be skipped….

..especially with words like ‘carry-ee-age’ and a Countess with a strong American accent. Some puzzles are not difficult, just obscure in their solution. A bit of patience deciphering the hints and you get there. Overall quite good.

English is mediocre, game is excellent

Wunderbares Spiel
