a lot to change
Game is fun until you realise that you seriously have to pay for the level editor? (not mentioning a battlepass esque gimmick also in the game) arguably a feature that could keep the game alive is custom levels and it being blocked behind a paywall is ridiculous including a bunch of stuff available only after buying a supporter pass. absolutely not consumer firendly and actually drives me away as soon as i found this out. I would gladly pay the 3 bucks for the game itself, pay for an ad free experience, with no ingame purchases or ad "boosts" like chests. the player customization could be better too, like unlocking icons, trails, glides by completing achievements/getting a surten amount of throphies, placing first in multiplayer a surten amount of times etc., i feel like the current system where you have to collect a bunch of materials is way more grindy than it should be. geometry dash is a game that did everything right in this department even for its low cost. you pay for a good gaming experience and i cant say i would be getting that even if i bought the level editor. multiplayer is very fun, definitely could play multiplayer battles with online levels too. maybe add a rate system where you as the developer feature a good level(like the daily levels) which in return could give you a better reward for completing the said level. singleplayer main levels would be a nice addition too. i like the concept, i like the flow of the game when youre actually playing, but for the other reasons im not sure how i feel about it as a whole experience. taking a look at it from a consumer standpoint could give you a better understanding, most of the time a game that you pay for makes you feel like you have to make it worth your money, it gives you a better and loyal playerbase.
