Really made our trip! We love listening and reading about the history of places we visit. Skye is such a magical island. This was such a great way to learn about Skye as we discovered the island by car and by foot. Can’t wait to come back again, the locals are lovely too!

All the info is download to you phone in less than a minute when you sign up so it’s available even when you are somewhere remote with no signal. Useful links to other resources are included and the guides come with relevant maps to help you navigate special places.

I have had great pleasure introducing the App to our guests. The introduction and description of the island and its extraordinary history is wonderful! So too and in particular the Gaelic spoken in the introduction to welcome guests. Inspired! So important that Skye is seen as so much more than just spectacular scenery and David and Robin do just that as they tell the story of Skye and guide visitors to places that are off the beaten track and away from the more well-known places, improving the visitor’s enjoyment of and engagement with the island and its people I am really looking forward to introducing the App to more of our guests and playing the introduction that sets the scene for amazing adventures in Eilean a’ Cheo. Was told about this app from a neighbour who’d used it recently, as I’m planning a trip to Skye next month. I found it extremely useful, easy to navigate and very thorough.

We loved listening to these stories and history on Skye. We also received a lovely welcome pack with local music and recommendations on places to eat which we found very useful.

Consists of a huge download. And what seems to be free actually needs an almost £12 unlocking fee. Most misleading!!!
