Αντικείμενο του έργου με τίτλο "Έξυπνες εφαρμογές για την προστασία και ανάδειξη του περιβαλλοντικού αποθέματος της νήσου Χρυσής (Γαϊδουρονήσι), την προβολή παράκτιου μετώπου καθώς και του φυσικού & πολιτιστικού περιβάλλοντος της ενδοχώρας του Δ. Ιεράπετρας", είναι η δημιουργία μιας ψηφιακής εφαρμογής για την ενημέρωση και πληροφόρηση του κοινού για την ανάδειξη αλλά κυρίως την προστασία του περιβαλλοντικού αποθέματος της νήσου Χρυσής, την προβολή του παράκτιου μετώπου, όπως και των σημείων υψηλής οικολογικής και πολιτιστικής αξίας της ενδοχώρας του Δήμου Ιεράπετρας με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στις περιοχές που έχουν χαρακτηριστεί NATURA.
Αυτή η καινοτόμος και σύγχρονη ψηφιακή υποδομή στον τομέα του τουρισμού στοχεύει να εμπνεύσει τους επισκέπτες να περιηγηθούν σε ψηφιακά προβαλλόμενα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος, ενισχύοντας έτσι τη σύνδεση του παράκτιου μετώπου με την ενδοχώρα, παρέχοντας νέες υπηρεσίες υψηλής προστιθέμενης αξίας.
