Really useful
This app works really well to get from one place to another and often to find the best exit to use. I’ve used other apps for different cities in China and always wish that they were as good as this one. I use the Beijing and Guangzhou ones too.

Great app, regularly updated with map changes and new features. Looks great on iPhone 6 with this latest update.

Clear and easy to use, from the route planing to cost, it's great.
Basic: needs much more
Not much help unless you have Google Maps on your phone. It can't tell you which is the best station for your destination, nor does it give directions. Might as well take a photo of the shanghai Metro Map on your iphone and then toggle between that and Google Maps, which is what I did before I got this app. Unless new features are coming don't waste your time or money.
The app is ok 90%
The app is ok but should have a clearer facility to say start and finish and offer take line 4 then change at then take line 8 the directions seem to be only on dots on map, it's very usable and worth having just should be improved.
Very easy to use
I found shanghai easy to navigate with this app. I would recommend it!
