Amazing app

Great and easy to use!

App doesn’t work on smaller screens

Rhinneh on

United Kingdom

I have a second gen iPhone SE and this app doesn’t work on my phone. The top bar runs off of the screen to the right side leaving me unable to use the menu button. The app also displays a loading circle infinitely on the main screen after logging in. Sometimes a second loading circle appears beneath it then disappears. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, restarted my phone, checked I have all the latest updates and what have you. It just doesn’t work. Since the app is essential for pretty much everything nursery-related, this is pretty dire.

Poor User experience

Christel LG on

United Kingdom

Our nursery switched to this app 2 months ago. They’re now switching back to the old app, which arguably has less functionality, because this is just so poorly conceived. Mostly as it’s just not optimised for mobile phones which is baffling! It’s like using a web form from 1998!

A patch on Famly

TiscoB on

United Kingdom

Having transitioned to this from Famly, we’ve found it very difficult to use and the UI is poor. Such a shame our nursery has gone with EY

Rubbish - previous supplier much better

Minny Minny132 on

United Kingdom

Our nursery provider must be penny pinching which is ludicrous considering how much we pay them Their previous provider was so much better than this one Messages are hard to read It's just really user unfriendly and I hate to go in and use it everyday Other parents have said the same to me The bad user experience makes me not want to open it to see pictures of my child Whereas I used to be excited

Just started using

Whatever69er on

Our nursery has just changed to this app. Seems ok apart from when you click on comment or like it crashes no matter what. Quite frustrating. Still getting used to the other functions but feel it’s due an update.

UI/UX could be improved

LeighMoores on

United Kingdom

Great app for updates on childcare However, UI needs improving. When I first access the app it automatically loads the “learning journey” screen which never has any data on. The app should have a nice clear landing/home page Also can’t stop email notifications on posts not from the childminder, which is a pain

Clunky

Collabrador on

United Kingdom

This app does allow me to get updates from nursery, yes but I wish they’d use just about any other app. It’s slow, photos display poorly and I absolutely hate that if I open the app whist listening to music on my phone, the music cuts. Nursery also complain that it doesn’t function properly on their end either.

Can’t even get started!

Wightmouse on

On trying to log in for the first time I am sent a 6 digit verification code. The app only shows 5 boxes to type this into??? Doesn’t matter which 5 digits I use it will not allow me to log in. Absolutely diabolical app!

Poor experience. Bad design.

The app claims to be doing some things that would be useful to parents. It does not. Some things that would have made the app useful: Ability to see what our babies had to eat throughout the day (at the moment, we can only see how much they had: None, Some, All). The App Store pictures show it already does it. It does not. My baby’s nursery need to add the meals he had as a “note”. Being able to scroll more easily through the descriptions of observations on a mobile phone. Easy on a desktop. Very difficult on a mobile. Ability to add photos into the account (either via a mobile app or the website). Ironically, even though this is a native mobile app, it hasn’t been optimised for mobile. The experience is very poor. The design is very old. I’ll be not recommending it to anyone. I’m also in the process of getting my nursery to change the provider completely.
