A good start but needs improvement
I am looking at this app for scoring in club events, however it seems to be oriented to one off regattas rather than something like a 10 - 20 week series. The first problem is that having finished those that crossed the line in a given race, the rest get only one possible outcome (E.g. DNF or DNS). There needs to be a provision for multiple non finishing outcomes, such as DNC, DNS, DNF. The series might have 20 entries but on one day there might be 15 attendees and in a given race e.g. 12 starters and 10 finishers. DNC and DNF for example get different scores. Then, having compiled the days results, they need to be exported to the series record (e.g. spreadsheet) but text and pdf exports are not useful. I don’t expect the app to accommodate a multi- week series record, but it should let the individual days be exported to an appropriate spreadsheet. As it stands the app isn’t much better for the administrator than manual result records.
