Je commence tout juste sur cette application, je ne trouve pas comment changer la langue en français je pense que ce serait intéressant comme évolution de pouvoir choisir la langue de l’application

Not bad but could do better!
Some books are not present, or are in another language and some books appear multiple times. Also the algorithm could be better by hiding the books that are already on our lists. It’s not always intuitive how to update our readings and it would be nice to add more features to the library section to create like a reading tracker. Overall it’s okay and I’ll keep using it but it could be better!
We need improvements
Ideas for improvement: - Add a way to see from which sagas/series a book is from - basically please more infos about the book other than tropes and summary: ISBN, awards, publisher, series. - Quick-add a book to a list with a long-click (like Pinterest) - I want to see the different editions of a single book + paperback/hardback differences etc (like Goodreads) Good app overall but can’t replace Goodreads yet.
L’appli presque parfaite
Il y a tout ce dont les fans de lecture ont besoin !! Il manque juste la fonctionnalité qui permet de mettre un commentaire lorsqu’on update notre avancée dans le livre et la barre de progrès comme dans Goodreads
Une appli incroyable
J’adore cette appli où on peut parler de tout et n’importe quoi en rapport avec les livres. La communauté Fable est vraiment bienveillante !

C’est la meilleure application pour lecteur que j’ai testé jusque ici. Elle est plus axé sur la communauté que GoodReads et c’est un aspect que je trouve vraiment bien. Le seul défaut que je peut lui trouvé est que les livres qui ne sont pas anglais sont plus difficile à trouver, et pour les avoir dans ma liste j’ai du les importer de mon compte GoodReads (le transfert était cependant très simple) Je recommande !!

I always wanted to join a book club irl but I wasn’t sure I would find one around me that would be suitable for my taste in books. This app solves that problem! I am now part of 3 big book clubs and my overall reading time has shoot up SIGNIFICANTLY! And on top of everything, the UI of this app is just so pretty, smooth as butter 🧈👌🏻 one of my favourite apps now!
Edited review because I enjoy it now
I had issues with the app a few months ago being slow and glitchy but it was because of the mass signups. Now that the app is running smoothly I have no major issues. Notes for improvements: (1) tracking by books read and pages read. If there’s already a pages read tracker I’ve missed it. (2) an easier way to sign up for book clubs. When searching a club I put in my current read and it just showed book clubs not reading the same book but with similar club names. Didn’t realize I needed to go to the book itself then navigate to the clubs tab. (3) also my rereads don’t show up in my streak tracker. It’ll be nice to automatically count that towards my streak Otherwise great book tracker.
Love Fable; One Suggestion
I love this app so much. Socially, it’s like bookstagram, except there’s no distractions. And I love being able to track my reading streaks. I think the TV feature is super cool. I just really, really wish it was set up so that we could mark each episode within the show, or at least season by season. I’m constantly bouncing between my comfort shows, so tracking show by show doesn’t really work for me because I don’t often watch in order.
Racism baked into the AI
End of year wrap up will tell you to “make room for white authors” if you read a lot of Black authors in 2024. Pass on this one.
