Maybe The Best Amp SIM Ever

I owned a real ‘67 blackface Bassman for most of my adult life. It was indeed glorious but it didn’t start getting raunchy until it was ear-splittingly loud. Eventually and with considerable regret, I sold it to someone who didn’t have a wife and kids and a dog begging him to turn it down. Enter the Nembrini Faceman. My amp, exactly. Everything that made the Bassman great is here except it doesn’t rattle the walls. Place the Nembrini Black ahead of it and maybe use an Ownhammer IR for the cab. I don’t know of anything that sounds more convincing. I have SIMs from other developers, some of which are really good, but I’ll choose a Nembrini nearly every time. If they’d only create a Deluxe or a Princeton, my amp SIMming life would be complete.

So Perfect! My New Favorite ❤️

I thought I had my final go-to amp in the Nembrini Soundmaster. I also never much cared for any Bassman emulation I’ve tried over the years. But in a moment of weakness I grabbed it. All I can way is wow … wow! I can’t get enough of this amp. It actually speaks to me in a way. I can’t explain what I just said. It’s smooth and creamy but responds to digging in. Unlike most amp sims, it doesn’t go all flat and dead when the guitar volume is rolled off. It just cleans up like it should, and then goes all swanky when you crank up the volume. I can’t say enough good about this amp!

Tubes are now officially obsolete.

Amazing, perfect cleans and edge of breakup. My new main amp!
