Still buggy

In the Home Screen “search IDs” box, the app will populate a list of tickers, but then won’t let me click on one to select it. The app has been buggy for months through various updates.

Deteriorating Experience

From my experience, FDS went from building good SW to a company with bloated and buggy desktop app and junky iPhone app. It is actually quite sad to see the whole thing deteriorate so fast. I spend more time outside of the desktop app then before to get the stuff I need. Wish we switched to BBG

Needs an update

This app lacks basic functionality which has forced me to other platforms. The main time I use the app is for travel. However the document search feature has 0 sorting, which makes it very hard to find and save the right things for reading on the go. 4 years is too long to go between major app updates. Please do better.

Not Useful

Lack information. No flexibility in data. Barely can find anything I need on the app: - valuation multiples - estimates (depending on industry, would not even show basic cash flow or EBITDA metrics) Suggest referencing Koyfin app or other competitors who have done very well displacing using FactSet.

No useful data

For some stocks in certain sector, key estimates doesn’t even show EBITDA or Capex. Estimated are limited to two years. Basic forward multiples are not easy to find. Prior FactSet 2.0 was way better in regards to the data available. 3.0 should be retired. It’s useless.

Crashes all the time

App appears to be a nice upgrade vs 2.0 until it crashes on you repeatedly. There is a reason Bloomberg deserves a premium to this schlock.

Pretty UI, reduced functionality

New app looks nice, but the old version could search through news / research. Also reduced customization for mobile portfolio views.

Bad App with Less Info

Compared to FactSet 2.0 way less useful info / functionality: - Cannot get mobile alerts for personalized watchlist or alerts set up on desktop station - Valuation metrics limited to historical ratios - Estimates only show selected metrics where some are irrelevant for certain industries - no place that shows buy/sell/price target - Press release cannot be filtered to primary sources only easily - No details on EV build => The app is generally useless

Lost a lot of the useful function from Factset 2.0

Very disappointed with this version - it doesn’t provide the summary information on one page. I can’t no long see off-hour %change in watchlist or portfolio; you have to select a view, so you have to go to settings when you want to get different type of info, it’s simply not workable.

Step backward IMO

I think 2.0 was better. Showed all the portfolios and the news feed on the front page and if I wanted to go deeper I could. This does not allow that.
