I have played this game for years, but I am quitting. Too many ads, and no option for purchasing the game or opting out of ads. Done.

I love this game, but unfortunately I noticed that the game backgrounds have logos for movements such as Freemasonry. Please make the backgrounds specific to the game only.

Ever since the most recent update, the game will not open. Please update to fix!

-Edit- I’ve been playing this game for years and suddenly there are ads after each level. What gives? Please provide us a with a way to buy an ad-free version lest you risk losing customers who actually buy in-app purchases. Why would I pay for extras like clubs when I still have to sit through the ads after each level? I won’t. I’m only dropping the score to make my review seen, so that the developers can address the issues I’ve mentioned at the bottom. I’ll take it back to 5 stars when I get a developer response or an update. Thanks! -end edit- This has been my go-to game for the past year, any time I have a few moments to myself. The golf commentators combined with the ambient nature, music, and city noises that change each course make this a relaxing but challenging game that keeps your Brian active. The dialog is really interesting, in that if you replay a level, the conversation changes from the previous attempt, and the card layout will be slightly different. There are mini challenges within each course, such as “play a run using no face cards”, which make the game exciting. My only complaint is that I can’t play my own music in the background; as soon as you start the app, any music playing is overridden. I’d love to see this change! It would be cool to still leave the noises and commentators on, but just be able to play your own soundtrack. Also, having 5 Golf Bucks in the gold cards after you max out through”Great Shot!” meter is a slap in the face; please change this! Otherwise, this game is perfect.

I’ve played this app for so many years; before they ad all of the ridiculous amount of adds; before the crummy club thing; before the useless stamp function that took away from more worthy bonuses; when there were actually great bonuses that you could upgrade to by using golf bucks; like more power on your swing, slowed down cards on the shell game with golfballs, etc, etc. Today’s game is a shell of what it used to be. I used to have several million golf buck but the app was too large and I couldn’t update my ipad even after I tried to use my millions by constantly “buying” clubs and other things constantly to get through courses. i just couldn’t make a dent in the millions I had. I deleted the app. of course nothing was saved. Now with the current versions for the last several years there is too many ads to enjoy the game. I HAVE NEVER USED REAL MONEY TO BUY ANYTHING ON THIS OR ANY OTHER APP. It’s not needed; Eventually the game app gives you what you need for free. Just stop letting the app trick you into using your golf bucks to buy clubs, etc.; stop using your clubs, etc to get through courses. I also turn on airplane mode after the daily games, that way I get zero ads or offers that try to get me to spend real money. Why does anyone spend real money? If the app ever requires you to be connected to the internet to play, then I will delete this free app. It is fun to play, but nowhere as fun as it used to be. They got lazy on the variety of mini games they used to offer for free; too lazy to shuffle the goals you have to complete. It’s so boring compared to the old game. The backgrounds are the same as always, and everything is put on automatic, it’s cheaper to run, but bigfish is trying to be cheap AND make more money. And now you’re forced to upgrade when it was an option years ago. Make us want to upgrade people. It’s still worth playing for free. On airplane mode.

I have been playing this game for years—enjoying it immensely. Now being inundated with ads after holes—they really mess up a timed challenge. Holes have become incrementally more difficult—obviously headed to having to pay for assets to even get the Daily Holes completed. Over. It.

Had 800,000 points and now app won’t load. It keeps shutting off! Tried to delete it and re download it. Still doesn’t work. Is this the bug fix that happened a week ago??? So frustrating.
